Our place is aTourist Board accredited farmhouse, close to the Dromara Hills, Slieve Croob Scenic Loop, Newcastle, Castlewellan Forest Park, Mourne Mountains, Hillsborough.
The accommodation is 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs (2 double and a twin bedroom). Downstairs is kitchen/ living room, separate sitting room and toilet/ shower room. Spacious yard is great for parking.
We welcome couples, business travellers, families, pets, golfers, film crews, walkers and cyclists

The space
Our accommodation is very rural, on a working farm, allowing guests to experience peaceful country life. They are welcome to experience or ignore farming culture! While we are in the country and a car is a necessity, we are a good base for visitors who want to explore most of Northern Ireland and are within easy reach both of Eire and the famous Causeway Coast. We are only 6-9 miles from the main A1 - Belfast/ Dublin road, have ample private parking, can provide secure accommodation for bicycles, motorbikes, prize-winning dogs, even for larger "show" animals if required.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the farmhouse, spacious backyard free parking area and barbecue area in front of the building.

Other things to note
There is a log burning stove in the living room and an open fire in the sitting room.
The log burner is set for guests and some firewood is available at no extra cost.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our neighbourhood is very scenic farmland, with the Dromara hills nearby. Lots of locals walk dogs on the road and are always friendly and curious to meet and talk to visitors. There are sheep, cattle and horses in abundance, not to forget our own donkey "Florence" who loves a carrot, apple or grape treat. The road is an important and challenging cycle route /the drumlins of County Down
