Imagine a cozy and bright home in Porto's World Heritage historic and vibrant city center… this apartment (sleeps 4) has a fantastic natural light and a calm, cozy atmosphere. Here you will find all the commodities for a perfect stay, either if you came for a short visit or for a longer period with the family.
The first impression when opening the front door is the natural light that illuminates the entire house: two windows show you the city roofs and the bell tower of the historic Trindade church, reminding that you are right at the UNESCO world heritage city center. On the other side, a window and a balcony give you a glimpse of the green backyard gardens. And a roof window allows you to gaze at the stars.
The house is a 60 m2 duplex that occupies the 3rd floor of a fully renovated early 20th century building.
It hosts comfortably 4: in one independent room (with a double bed) and one mezzanine (with twin beds). It has one bathroom and a well equipped kitchen/living room with a nice balcony where you can enjoy a glass of Porto wine. We provide you towels, bed linen and all the gear needed to prepare meals (e.g., microwave, toaster, oven and stove top, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery).
The home decor leverages on the typical atmosphere of the historical center of Porto (granite stone, high ceilings with pine wood), but adds modern and cozy elements (plants and green, books, home-made crafts and charming timeless objects).
Free high-speed internet (in the entire house), cable television, air conditioning (hot and cold), and a washing machine are also at your disposal. Here you will find all the comfort needed for either a short weekend or a longer business visit, alone or with the family.
Please notice that the staircase up to the mezzanine and its height is likely to make you less comfortable if you are travelling with small children (especially those with a climbing spirit). Aside from that, there is space for a baby crib in the main room and children are very welcome.
Guests have access to all the amenities of the apartment.

We are the ones behind this apartment: 2 young scientists raising 2 beautiful children that love to be in contact with nature. We lived in many different places, but we now settled in Porto (and felt in love with Porto and the Douro Valley), though we still travel a lot, for work and for fun. When abroad, the thing we miss the most is the coziness of home at the end of a great day. Probably this happens to you too. Thinking on that, we created your "home in Porto" with the things we love the most: plants and green, books, home-made crafts and charming timeless objects. We hope you enjoy it as much as us!
