Situated in the heart of Fremantle the apartments are located with-in the historic heritage listed Caledonian Hall, located on the corner of James and Quarry Street. Two ultra modern, self contained apartments - one being a Studio (unit 2A) with separate bedroom & the other a large apartment (unit 2) with an open plan bedroom on a mezzanine level. Each unit is fully equipped with everything you need for a terrific stay.

The space

Unit 2
Living space is typically open plan, with a spacious combined lounge-dining area overlooked by a mezzanine accessed by an open-tread staircase. The kitchen has its own niche with views to the Fremantle Arts Centre, complete with original jarrah floor and post-formed benchtops. The bathroom and laundry are separate and presented in period style with a timber vanity and two-toned tiled floors. Views to the harbour & Gesha Coffee Co can be seen from the living area.
Sleeps 2 - (1 queen) Air conditioned, Covered parking bay unit 2 first floor only.

Guest access

There is a shared cloths line located on the mezzanine level in the undercover parking area.
One car bay is reserved at all times for Caledonian Apartments unit 2 only.

Please feel free to call me at any time for local information or visit the Fremantle Tourist Bureau located in Kings square. (approx 8 minute walk to the center of town)
Head south down Quarry st till you reach the Town Hall.

Great location in Fremantle and a really cool place to stay. Aircon kept the place cool on those really hot days and amazing breakfast and lunches next door. 5 minutes walk down to the town centre but lovely and quiet at night. Absolutely recommend this place!

My husband and I had a great 4 night stay at Craig's place. It is in a good location, walking distance to everything in Freo and the onsite, covered, dedicated parking space is a bonus. The apartment has a large, spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen with the bedroom in the loft. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook but we took advantage of the many eateries nearby. Good quality tea and coffee bags and a small milk were provided to start our stay. We took advantage of the laundry facilities with all the necessities provided. Communication with Craig was prompt and his instructions very clear. The weather was hot when we stayed but once the air conditioning cranked up it soon started to cool things down. Being in the heart of the city there was a bit of road noise (we live in a very quiet small coastal town) but while we noticed it, we weren't bothered by it. Would definitely stay again.

Hi I'm Craig and I have lived in the various suburbs of Perth for last 58 years and know the local area of Fremantle very well. Currently my wife, our rescued cat Gnocchi and I live in the suburb of Cottesloe which is just an 8 minute drive north of “Freo”. My wife and I have travelled extensively and decided to set up our short term accommodation business in 2002. We wanted to provide fellow travelers with a pleasant place to stay and enjoy, while visiting the town of Fremantle. I’m currently semi retired and have been providing short-term accommodation for 14 years through the Fremantle Tourist Bureau and now have made it available through ABNB. My current hobbies are Surfing, long distant swimming, cycling and walking. We hope you choose to stay in our apartments and enjoy all the sights and attractions Fremantle has to offer. Fremantle is the main port for Perth, Western Australia and is a short train trip from the City.
