My place is 4' walking from Kennington station, which it is one station down from Waterloo (the Thames River and The Parliament/Big Ben), and 3 stations down from London Bridge (Tower Bridge, The Thames, National Theatre, City Hall and so on).
It is an excellent residential area with a few British pubs and nice restaurants. The house is situated in a quite road (barely there is any traffic.
It is ideal for a big group of friends on holidays, families or couples.
I'm Joan Carles and I work on the IT department of a big European bank in London for many years. I am original from Valencia (Spain) and as you may have guessed already I'm an excellent cook of the most traditional Spanish dish: paella, and many others.
I share a full house with 2 other friends: Luis and Haritz.
We usually do Airbnb for the whole house in very specific times of the year (Christmas, Easter or Summer), when all 3 are abroad.
The house is a 3 floor house with 3 double bedrooms and a lovely garden in a quiet residential area unbelievably close to the centre, and by the centre I mean Waterloo, Parliament, Covent Garden, the river, and London Bridge, so top sightseeing destinations.
The house can allocate a 4th double bed in the master bedroom on the 3rd floor making it really comfortable for 8 people in total. Stretching it can reach 10, but we think 6/8 is the right humber to be comfortable and enjoy in full the whole house.
There are 2 full bathrooms in the house, 3 double bedrooms, full equipped kitchen, proper large dining room with views to the backyard grass garden, in a very quiet area with no traffic.
The house has a perfect location in Kennington, just 10' on the underground to the Parliament, the river Thames, the City Hall, London Bridge, and 15' from other top locations like the British Museum, National Gallery, Soho, Leicester Square and so on...
It is extremely well communicated by tube/metro (Northern line and Bakerloo line) and several bus lines by day and night. It is directly connected with the main shopping areas (Bond & Regent Street & Covent Garden) and close to the top sightseeing sights, the river, or several places for dancing, going out, restaurants or chill out.
Regarding me, I am a quiet and very relaxed person, that enjoy chill out, walk and do trekking as much as I can on my free time. I love food and travelling specially to Asia and Middle East, and I'm friendly, very open minded, and love to have guest, family or friends at anytime in in Alberta Street.
I'm looking forward to your arrival and I do hope that you enjoy the full house as much as I do, while I'm away on my holidays.
