We had a group of 9 and it was a great place for the large group. The house has a nice front porch where you can sit and eat/drink. The security guy's (Ruben and Carlos) are super! They are the nicest you will meet in Havana. You can see the Malecon from the front of the house and it is only a block away. There is an excellent cafe across the street, Cafe Rueda which is very inexpensive. There are 4 rooms that had AC issues where the rooms weren't cooling. They did clean rooms daily for us. They are able to exchange money there for you. The host also arranged the best taxi drivers to pick us up from the airport. They ended up being our drivers for several days on the trip.

I was stunned when I walked into this house. It is absolutely beautiful. The hosts were so helpful in directing us and setting up a taxi to pick up my big group of 11. We had breakfast made for us ($5 dollars per person) and ate out on the porch, over looking the neighborhood, it was one of my favorite moments of the trip with my family. The Malècon is walking distance and the Hotel National is about 5 minutes away. This place is definitely a gem, and you won't regret coming here! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we miss it already and will definitely be back!

Location for this house was great! There's plenty of places to eat and grab drinks nearby, but also plenty of areas to grab a cab for any other area of La Habana. We were a group of 10 and rented all the rooms available (although later during our stay there seemed to maybe be other people staying there but we never quite figured it out and didn't bother to ask since we were leaving so soon). We booked a little closer to our departure so there wasn't a lot of options at that time for housing 10 people which is why we agreed to pay what seemed to be a bit higher price per night then other places previously researched, however we really enjoyed having 24 hr surveillance on the premises and to help with letting us in the rooms when the keys were lost of misplaced. Make sure to bring your own water as the market one block up from the house didn't sell water when we visited.

Situated right next to malecon, walking distance to many restaurants and the hotel nacional which is great for a mojito and cigars. There is a security guard in front of the door 24hours and each room has a key so you can ensure no strangers enter your room. Beds were made and toiletries were replenished daily. Optional breakfast is decent. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Cuba! Only thing is that is that I would not buy any cigars from the street or any house host until you do your research and how to spot fake cigars.

We had a group of 9 and had an absolutely fantastic stay. There is security 24-7 and the hosts are super accommodating. With us being a large group we wanted to take advantage of our collective buying power so the host helped us procure a large van that would fit all of us to go to both Varadero and Viñales on day trips. Rooms have two prong American style outlets as well as come equipped with a mini fridge and an AC unit which was really nice at night. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for $5 CUC and comes with toast, coffee, fruit, eggs, and some juice. Great location in that it's only a block away from the Malecon and anywhere from 5-10 CUC to old Havana depending on what type of car you book. Good luck! Would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic visit. Had 9 people, all 6 rooms to ourselves. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, tho sparse and dated. The staff were all super friendly, helping with directions, changing money, talking about the history etc. Nice having a gentleman watching the front door 24/7. fyi its run by an agency that has dozens of local properties.
