This house is walking distance to the Santa Cruz Harbor, Twin Lakes Beach, and some of the best restaurants in Santa Cruz. It's a comfortable one bedroom home located upstairs (above the garage) in a quiet neighborhood. The sofa in the living room folds out into a queen size bed to accommodate up to 2 more guests.

The space
This is a one bedroom house located upstairs (above garage). It has a sunny deck with BBQ and hardwood floors. I provide wifi and a 32 inch smart TV. Pandora music is available free of charge on the smart TV. Other streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon and Hulu can easily be accessed if you have an account. The bathroom has both a shower and bath tub. Beach and bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a blow dryer are also provided. The kitchen is equiped with dishes and appliances including a coffee pot, toaster, blender, and waffle maker. Oil, sugar, and spices are also provided but you should plan on bringing any other food items, including coffee.

If you decide to eat out there are many options available within walking distance. The Crows Nest, Cafe El Palomar, Johnny’s, The Harbor Cafe (amazing breakfast), and L&L Hawaiian are all great dining options. During the day you can walk to the harbor, which is a great place to rent stand up paddle boards, take a motor taxi, or go sailing on the Chardonnay. Twin Lakes Beach is a beautiful beach that offers beach volley ball nets, is dog friendly (on leash only), and allows bon fires until 10:00 pm.

I love to spend time with my kids at the beach, or vacationing in Tahoe during the winter months. We often rent houses through airbnb when we travel and appreciate the “at home” experience that these rentals have provided my family. Renting a house with a kitchen and great location to experience the location of your travels offers so much more than a hotel room.
