The space

St Hilda's apartment has everything you need for a perfect break in Whitby.

It is grand, large and spacious and modern, with its own parking space (for one car) and spectacular views!

St Hilda's is located centrally in one of the most prestigious streets in Whitby, overlooking Pannett Park and with stunning views across to Whitby Harbour and the North Yorkshire moors. It is perfectly positioned for a relaxing stay, and less than 5 mins to shops and restaurants and 10 mins to the beach. The apartment is on the 1st floor.

Sleeping: Two ensuite bedrooms give sleeping space for 4 people - one double room, one large twin room (with a dressing table / work space). Bedding is provided.

Eating: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need. The essentials (microwave, cooker, kettle & toaster), as well as an amply sized fridgefreezer and dishwasher, give you plenty of options if you intend cooking during your stay. There is a 2 seater table in the kitchen, and a large dining table in the living room.

Bathrooms/Ensuites: The double bedroom has an ensuite walk in shower with power shower, sink and toilet. The twin bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with spa bath, an electric shower over the bath, sink and toilet. Soap, bath towels (one per person) and hand towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels and toiletries.

Work and Play: Whilst we hope that you will be out taking in the beautiful surrounds, should you need to work or study there is free WIFI plus a workspace in the large twin bedroom. There is a TV (with 'You View' catch up TV and freeview) and a DVD player in the living room. There is also a TV in the main bedroom.

General: The apartment has full central heating.
Free private parking for one car is available in the communal car park.

We bought this apartment as we love Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast, it is our home from home! We visit whenever we can, but when we aren't here we want others to enjoy it too....

Family members live locally, and will be your main point of contact.

The neighbourhood

The apartment overlooks the town's Pannett Park and is centrally located in town. It is 5 minutes walk to the harbour and the beach.

Getting around

There is a private parking for one vehicle.

Whitby Train Station is within walking distance as well as the bus station, making it possible to visit without the car!

We stayed with our 4 year old daughter and baby. The apartment is very spacious and decorated to a very high standard. Very clean. The owners have been very thoughtful in providing everything you might need. Communication was excellent. Only a few minutes walk from Whitby centre. Highly recommended and we'd love to stay again.

The apartment at St Hilda's Terrace was a fantastic listed building which had been divided into flats. The place was really close to the main shopping area and a few minutes walk from the seafront and to the main area of restaurants. The owners were easy to communicate with and the apartment was spotless and cosy. We would recommend a stay in this apartment in Whitby if you get the chance!

Lovely apartment. Great location and really well equipped. Pannet Park (opposite) and Skinner St (2 mins walk) definitely worth a visit. Our first time to Whitby and we all loved it. The fantastic weather was a bonus! Thank you again.

A lovely spacious apartment that felt like a well-loved home. All the essentials were already there and the hosts had left us some lovely local beer and biscuits, which was a nice touch. My daughter took to calling it our "little home" for the week, which felt like a good description. Private parking was really useful for us as Whitby is a bit tight and the location between the park, beach and town was perfect. It was also close to some excellent coffee shops and breakfast/lunch places (e.g. Beckett's). Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely week.

This is a great base for a holiday in Whitby. We have a lovely time. The apartment was really spacious and decorated to a high standard. Located close to the centre but location is still peaceful. Fantastic views of Whitby.
