The subdivision is zoned low density residential, hence there is no block smaller than 4000sq.m. It seams as if you were right out in the country, yet all facilities are so close.
It is quite and at the same time is peaceful, yet has most facilities that a city offers.
Do not be surprised if a stranger chats you up while walking- jogging along the 3kms of Nobelius Drive. Tasmanians are very friendly and you may be captivated by the laid back lifestyle and the myriad of things this Island offers for the interested tourist- resident to see. It can be a catching "disease".
We caught the incurable bug 9 years ago, left the hustle and bustle of Sydney behind and are enjoying all that nature offers in the North of Tas. Legana is near enough to the CBD yet far enough to completely unwind.
Please come and experience this beautiful part of God's creation, called Tasmania.
There are buses stopping 20 meters away from our gate. The service connects Beaconsfield and Launceston.
Possibly 6-10 services a day.
The gardens are pretty all year round. Summer is dryer than elsewhere in Australia, so the contrast isn't as nice as through other seasons, but all the delicious fruits are ripening and Tasmanian cherries are the most scrumptious in all of Australia. Locally grown apricots and peaches are out of this world, while all other Island-grown fruits and vegetables are just as delicious. Spring,Autumn and Winter- Tasmania has it all. Beef, lamb, milk products , cheeses, seafood........oh, don't they taste good. I believe that Australia has some fantastic sites, but Tasmania, being a small island beats them all. You can't blink, without missing a sight. Our region - the Tamar Valley offers so much for the astute traveller. Launceston being the third oldest city in Australia is loaded with beautiful heritage buildings. It is in a lovely location, and who can go past this city without viewing it's "Cataract George" . It is magnificent, breathtaking, a sight not to be missed. If you are adventurous you may even wish to walk along the gorge all the way to the power station- a good 2 hour return trip for the not so faint heart-ed. And what a sight it is after lots of heavy rain when the weir is opened- it can be likened to the roar of a tsunami. Of course the Tamar Wine Region is nothing to sneeze at. The most delicious wines coupled with excellent cheese platters and the most appetizing dishes served at many wineries.
Why would you not come to a place like this? A place that draws the adventure seeker and anyone who's palate is extraordinary.

Interaction with guests
We are very friendly, but at the same time respect the privacy of our guests.
The greatest asset this world possesses is people. We are all here for a short period of time and within that short period relationships matter so much. Our posterity will have nothing to do with our present possessions, people will remember us only for the positive influence we were in their lives. I hope and pray, that this will remain a reminder all my life.
