Located in Plaza Colon on the 3rd floor, come and enjoy an amazing view and spacious shared apartment! With running water after Hurricane Maria! Power is temporarily out. Just 15 minutes from the airport! The room is a little small, but ideal to just and explore. Queen bed with brand new AC. No wifi, but you can access free wifi downstairs. Apartment comes equipped with a lovable cat and dog. Still new, so it needs a little TLC.

The space

The apartment itself in an antique, colonial, Spanish style. Two sets of French doors that open out towards the balcony where you can enjoy a 180 degree view towards the plaza. Keep in mind, if the doors are left open, you can also enjoy the cool breeze that comes in and blows all the way to the end of the hallway. Two spacious living rooms, each with its own entrance. A long, narrow hallway leads to the bathroom and kitchen, private closet, and the bedrooms at the end.
NOTE: The apartment is on the second/ third floor; there is no elevator, so bringing up heavy luggage will be difficult.

The Airbnb room is the MIDDLE of three rooms located at the end of the hallway. The room itself is small, but comfortable with a Queen sized bed; its perfect for travelers that want to spend the day outside and crash at night. Its all still pretty basic; I am currently working on a few nick nacks that are still missing, but the apartment is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, fresh towels, beach towels, and fresh linens.

Available for guests upon request:
•Ironing board and iron
•Foam cooler for the beach
•Extra storage space for luggage
•Beach towels

Located in Plaza Colon (the very entrance of the old city), the apartment enjoys a prime location where you can experience the ambience and life of Old San Juan. Just 5 minutes to the majority of the most popular restaurants, bars, shops, and only 3 blocks to Calle San Sebastian where you can loose yourself in a string of nightclubs, bars, and restaurants that make up the nightlife in Old San Juan.

Apart from all the delicious foods and the busy nightlife, anyone can enjoy other forms of entertainment, such as the Art Museum of Puerto Rico, Foreign Film Cinema, San Cristobal Castle, El Morro, our Promenades, and more, that make up the basic sightseeing in OSJ.

Guest access

Guests have complete access to the apartment, except my room and private closet. Feel free to use the fridge and kitchen!

I use a self check in since I'm usually at work when guests arrive. The keys are found in a master lock box on the apartment door. To check out, keys are placed in the same lockbox.

Interaction with guests

I work all the time, so I'm barely ever there. Please dont hesistate to text or call me (text is prefered). There is no such thing as stupid questions, if there is any doubt please ask.

Other things to note

The main entrences to the apartment do not have door knobs, they are just deadbolts. If the doors are not locked properly, they can be left open and since I have animals, it would not be a happy situation if one of them were to get out.

After showering, please make sure that the water valves are shut tight, they'll continue to drip if not shut tight enough.

Please be considerate with the air conditioning. The electricity in Puerto Rico is expensive. I recommend to turn the AC off if your not going to be in the room.

No loud noises after 12, so as not to disturb the other residents in the complex.

There are animals, one is a very old cranky puppy, so try not to bother her.

Unless its more than 2 guests, please do NOT sleep on the couch, that way everyone can enjoy the livingroom and balcony.

Please DONT feed the animals.

Excellent location in Old San Juan, close to a lot of restaurants and ferry terminal. The place was good for a short stay but bear in mind that the room has limited space; the double airbed fits in the room and a small space to leave suitcases on the floor. The room has a couple of fans (ceiling and floorstanding). Gabriela was a great communicator, friendly and flexible. She shares the flat with more people and a couple of pets (a lovely friendly cat and a cute puppy). Good value for the location.

The apartment is perfectly situated to take advantage of what Viejo San Juan has to offer - and the price is excellent given the area! It was very fun to get to use the living room and balcony, overlooking the plaza. We recommend it highly.

This room is located in the heart of Old San Juan and close to everything. The room was cozy and air conditioned, making for a comfortable sleep. The cat was friendly and entertaining. The balcony provided a beautiful view of the town. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Gabriela made our stay/check in super easy and smooth! The apartment is located in the perfect section of Old San Juan, steps away from the cruise port, El Morro, and tons of restaurants/shops! Gabriela was super welcoming and kind to talk to. It is a private room in her residence, and perfect for anyone traveling through for a day or too! The balcony view is amazing!

As advertised. Clean place, good view right in the heart of San Juan. Didn't meet Gabriella but was very quick to respond when we had questions. Would recommend.

Gabriela and Eric's place is in a great location, in the heart of San Juan and only minutes away from all of the top sights. Gabriela communicated well, making my arrival and stay easy, and she gave me many tips on where to eat and drink.

Cute place at the entrance of old San Juan! We enjoyed sitting on the shared patio and people watching. Street parking is hard to find if you rent a car, and beware that you will get a $250 parking ticket if you park during 9am-7pm! The signs are not visible and apparently this happens to tourists all the time. If you do get one, pay in person for a reduced price.
