Only a few minutes from the town center, the Aiguille de Midi cable car and free buses to all areas. Painted in light colors, balcony marvelous view on Brévent, kitchenette, plenty of storage, three comfortable beds and one chair-bed. Wi-Fi and parking included.

A booking is made between Isaac Doude van Troostwijk (hereinafter called 'the Owner', and the named person, (hereinafter called 'group leader') who has confirmed the booking and accepted the Terms and Conditions, when payment of deposit has been received and cleared.
The group leader is responsible on behalf of all other members of the group for all matters relating to the booking.
'Group' refers to all persons booked to stay in the accommodation. The group includes any change of names to the original booking.
The Owner guarantees the price of the holiday as quoted at the time of booking.
The Owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold holidays at any time.
The Owner reserves the right to terminate without notice and liability the holiday of any group member and risk that of the entire group whose behaviour is such that it is likely to disrupt the enjoyment of others on holiday or staying in the building, or cause damage to the property or any third party. You are also liable to forfeit your cautionary deposit if we receive complaints from our neighbours or from our building management agent regarding the group’s unruly behaviour. This is entirely at the discretion of The Owner.
Terms Payment
Full payment on reservation with AirBNB

Security Deposit -Credit Card details will be taken on arrival and a preauthorisation of 200 euros will be placed on the card by AirBNB
It is the responsibility of the group to ensure that the accommodation is left in a clean condition with replacement of all breakages. If you notice anything damaged you must report this within 24hours of arrival. If the group cause any damages, breakages or losses during the booking period the group will be liable for these and will pay for the “like for like” replacement of the damaged/missing items before departure. If the group do not pay and /or the damage is not noticed until after departure and /or items belonging in the accommodation have been removed the group’s cautionary deposit will be used to pay for replacements. If it is in excess of the cautionary deposit, the group will pay for these within 14 days after departure of the accommodation.
The Owner standard charges are as follows:
€ 60 for general cleaning; you are expected to leave it in a reasonable state, this charge applies when you have not made a decent effort to clean up after yourselves.
€ 100 plus the real costs of cleaning and other related costs (like washing) in case smoking within the accommodation was determined by the owner or by his representative.
€ 50 plus the cost of replacement of each key set, remote control, if lost or not returned keys as directed.
€ 50 if rubbish bags are left in the accommodation and not placed in the external communal rubbish bins.
€ 50 if washing not completed with items placed in cupboards where found.
€ 50 if used bed linen and towels (Excluding mattress protectors) are not placed in bath/shower room prior to departure.
€ 150 if skis/Snowboards/Boots and other related outdoor equipment are stored anywhere other than on the balcony.
Any costs incurred including legal expenses, involved in The Owner collecting any outstanding monies will be paid by the group in addition to the aforementioned.
Alterations
Any expenses incurred by The Owner in respect of any alterations to the booking will be passed on to the group. No alterations or amendments can be accepted unless received in writing from the group.
Cancellation by Client
A cancellation must be made in accordance with AirBNB terms
Alteration or Cancellation by The Owner
In the unlikely event that The Owner has to alter or cancel your accommodation, the group leader shall be notified of any major changes as soon as possible and shall be offered a comparable accommodation or full refund unless the alteration or cancellation is due to forces beyond the control of The Owner amounting to Force Majeure.
Force Majeure: The Owner does not accept any liability wheresoever or howsoever arising or pay compensation for:
a) any event which The Owner could not foresee or avoid. Such events include war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions such as lack of snow, and fire, and the like;
b) any cancellation, loss, delay or costs wheresoever or howsoever arising or connected with adverse weather or traffic conditions, avalanche, mud slips, slides and snow conditions and the effect any of these may have on travel arrangements, accommodation and activities, and the like;
c) limitations imposed by resort authorities, ski-lifts, ski school or ski hire operators, and the like;
d) travel arrangements made by the group or on behalf of the group, and the like.
The Owner does not accept any liability for personal injury or death wheresoever or howsoever arising caused to any visitor and/or any member of the group for their duration of stay in the accommodation. This is not intended to exclude any statutory rights the group and/or visitor may have.
Arrival and Departure
Key collection and arrivals are between 4pm and 8pm (unless otherwise mutually agreed in advance with charges applicable). Please note the group may incur charges for late arrival; € 30 after 8pm, € 60 after 12pm, € 120 after 2am.
Departure of accommodation and key drop off and departures are by 10am. (unless otherwise mutually agreed in advance with charges applicable).

You are asked to consider the health and safety of the accommodation, the building and other occupants. Therefore unless otherwise stated, smoking, including pipes and cigars is strictly not permitted within the accommodation. Pets of all descriptions are totally banned. Should this be contravened then The Owner reserves the right to cancel the group booking without any refund and ask the group to seek alternative accommodation immediately.
Insurance
It is up to the group leader to ensure that each member of the party is responsible for the safety of all their own personal possessions, documents and equipment. The Owner does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to property and or persons or third parties at any time.
It is up to the group leader to ensure that each member of the group has all their own necessary medical and travel insurance documents to cover themselves fully before embarking on the holiday. No responsibility is or will be accepted in respect of any such failure to insure wheresoever or howsoever arising.
Information, WebSite and Brochure Accuracy
Any information given in the website or by letter or by word of mouth about the resort, accommodation, facilities or services is given in good faith based on the latest information and in the belief that it is true.
Refunds
Liability
The Owner does not accept liability of any act or default or omission on the part of any suppliers of any service that The Owner offers and over whom The Owner has no direct control. The group will be bound by the operating conditions of all suppliers of the other services that make up the holiday.
Limitations of Liability
In no event shall the liability of The Owner to the group for any loss or damage exceed the price paid for the relevant accommodation or arrangement.
Claims by the group
Any claims or complaints against The Owner should be notified to a representative of The Owner within 24 hours and any claim or complaint that cannot be resolved in the resort should be made in writing to The Owner within 28 days from the end of the booking. A complaint must be made in writing by the person who signed the booking form.
Jurisdiction
Any contract made by the group and The Owner shall be governed in all respects by Dutch Law and Dutch Courts only shall have jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute arising out of or connected with any such contract.

Isaac was an excellent host. He responded very quickly to our request and any following questions we had. He went to lots of effort to make sure that we had everything we need and tried very hard to accommodate us when we were going to arrive in Chamonix at midnight! The apartment was perfect for our needs and right in the centre of Chamonix. It was a perfect base for our short skiing holiday and was a short walk from the bus stop and the town centre. We really enjoyed going to 'Monkey' bar 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

This was the second time we rented the apartment. The location is great, close to Aguille du Midi and the center of Chamonix. Parking under the building, elevator and good wifi. Isaac is a very good host and the communication before and during the stay has been quick and easy.

Our stay in Tom's apartment in Chamonix was great. My wife and I spent six nights in Chamonix - I went climbing everyday while she hiked and went sight-seeing. This location served us well throughout the trip. Though we never met Tom in person, he was very timely in assisting with our reservation and provided useful information about the town and its surroundings. His son, Isaac, received us at the Aiguille du Midi train stop in town, which is two blocks away from the apartment. Isaac lives in the apartment, but was going to be out of town for the duration of our visit. Rachel, Tom's liaison was available in the event that we had any issues with the apartment and aided us in checking out of the apartment. The small apartment had everything we needed - a comfortable full sized bed, a mini fridge, a sink, a stove top, a small washer, and Wi-fi. The bedroom had a small window and the living room had a large double-door window, both of which aided in keeping the apartment cool at night. The apartment is in a prime location for exploring Chamonix, the French Alps, and the neighboring countries/villages. The Aiguille du Midi gondola is literally across the street from the apartment. My wife took two day trips to Switzerland and Italy while I was climbing in the alps. There are several good cafes located next to the apartment, while the majority of shopping and restaurants are located just a few blocks away. The one downside - our visit concurred with the Chamonix Marathon, 40K, and 80K races. The race route went right by our apartment, and the 80K runners were still running well into the night. On lookers sat at the cafes near the apartment and cheered them on until about 3am in the morning. Bring earplugs or listen to your iPod when going to sleep. The noise from the street was very noticeable on late nights during the weekend and everyday in the early morning when all the cafes and businesses are opening. That being said, this issue did not detract from the quality of our stay. Highly recommended - if we come back to Chamonix this is where we will stay.

Tom was a great host - since he lives remotely he was great at communicating via email and coordinating with his liaison in Chamonix so that we could check in easily upon our late arrival. The apartment is small but very nice and you could sleep up to four people in the apartment. Location wise it was excellent, just a brief walk to the bus stop to get to all the various resorts, with Spar and various bakeries just around the corner. Chamonix's main high street was a 5 minute walk away too.

First of all I would like to say thank you to Tom for hospitality. All the process of booking and prebooking was very plesant. Everything was perfectly arranged. We got a very nice leaflet from Tom about transport, appartment rules, shopes, bakery etc before our trip. The best thing about the appartment itself it's definetely location. Situated near everything you can dream about: Aguille du Midi, amaizin French bakery, SPA, restaurants and Chamonix Town. Also i would like to mention this perfect view that you can enjoy from balcony. Appartment is warm and cozy in general, so wish everybody a very plesant stay!
