A great 7 day break at Hindle Barn. Everything from the pre arrival information, the location of the place, the space it offers (comfortably accommodated 2 adults plus 4 adult sized teenagers), the welcome we received, and information provided on the local area. Highlights included the views, the ability to roam from the doorstep, ample spacious parking, the spacious rooms, very well equipped kitchen, sauna and the games barn. With Wi-Fi also available, the break offered everything to make a relaxing break in the country work well with teenagers. Thank you Paul and Gill for making us feel so welcome, if we come back to the area we would look to return.

Paul and his wife are the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to assist us when we had issues with our car's GPS. The working farm and the barn was so enjoyable and I only wish in was closer so I could stay there again. soon. I will be recommending this place and these hosts to everyone who asks me about our visit.

This is a converted barn attached to the host's farmhouse, with all the facilities you would need. Other than its charm it's beauty is you normally have to go somewhat off track to get a property of this nature. However, this is literally several hundred meters up into the countryside off the main A road heading north from Rochdale. Amazing views from the barn, and I still cannot quite get over how a 2 minute drive takes me "back to civilization." Paul, the host, stables his own and other people's horses, and there are a couple of kid-friendly dogs too, and Paul is quite happy to engage the kids with "horsey" things.
