Nice comfortable bedroom with private bath in a cozy 2-bedroom seafront apartment. You’ll love my place because of the sea view, the natural surroundings, the light and the quietness and safety. Couples, solo adventurers, and all responsible travelers are welcome. I will be delighted to arrange activities for you to experience the natural nearby beauty such as yoga/pilates, eco walk in the ecological reserve, bird watching, bicycle rides and sea excursions. The condo has a private swimming pool.

The space

Enjoy a sustainable vacation! The room is equipped with fan to minimize the use of electricity and the impact on the environment. The Punta Cana Resort separates and recycle all your domestic garbage at a treatment plant located by the airport. 100% of your wastewater is sent to a treatment plant and treated water is used for maintenance of the golf courses and gardens. You can admire birds just outside the house, including, the Hispaniola Woodpecker, the Palmchat, and the famous endemic endangered Ridgway's Hawk which was introduced in Punta Cana to save the species from extinction.
The Punta Cana Group has signed a convention with the Ministry of Environment to take charge of the conservation of the coral reef, training local fishermen in coral gardening methodologies with the goal of developing sustainable, community-based eco-tourism businesses while promoting reef conservation.
Visit the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, a private protected forest area owned and operated for sustainable tourism by the Puntacana Foundation. Consisting of lowland subtropical forest, the reserve is 1,500 acres of land dedicated to conservation, scientific research, and recreation. It has freshwater lagoons, three of which visitors can swim in.
The Punta Can Resort has an organic garden with lots of vegetable and fruits available for the community, sold in the Farmer's market on Saturdays. It also produces its own 100% natural forest honey.

Lina and Marc's place is awesome. The room and private bath, super clean and comfy. The location is exceptional, the best beaches just a few minutes walking distance. Great dominican coffee each morning was a treat. Really good wifi which was super important to me. The resort shuttle is just steps away from the front door. The swimming pools were beautiful and very clean. Bikes are available and a nice way to get around. You will love your stay.

Lina & Mark where amazing and such great hosts! They made us feel very comfortable. This was the perfect stay if you are seeking total relaxation. The area is very quiet and there wheren't much people there. In fact we had the swimmingpool all by ourselfs! We enjoyed eating breakfast at the balcony. Had a wonderful experience at the Ecological Reserve and superb drinks at La Yola Restaurant. The shuttle worked fine even thou it took some time to the village for shopping/eating. Just a wonderful stay and really what we needed!

Lina's apartment is very comfortable and located right at the ocean, about a 5 minute walk from a private beach. The restaurant right next door, La Yola, is very good but pricey and only open briefly for lunch and again for dinner. Lina and Marc were both very friendly. With that being said, we had no idea that the apartment was located inside of the Punta Cana Resort & Club community until we arrived. Lina did mention it was located within a gated community after we had already booked the accommodation, but we still assumed it was residential, not located within a community of resorts. The reason we chose this particular accommodation is because it appeared to be a little secluded and away from any major resorts, not sharing a property with several. The excess security hindered our freedom of mobility more than we had anticipated, which to be honest was disappointing. Taxis are expensive, and there is a shuttle within the resort community but its hours of operation from the Marina where the apartment is are very limited. Not to mention that these resorts are very exclusive, and more than once we were denied service from places because we were not actually staying there. We attempted to eat breakfast at the AlSol resort next door one morning (which you access through a back gate) and were first told we couldn't, then allowed to after we agreed to pay in cash only. Another morning, we walked for over an hour along the beach to reach the first resort that would serve us. I feel like I have to add that we are both well traveled, flexible, and easy going, and possibly a little too independent for the restrictions that this accommodations' location put on us. I have also never had a disappointing stay with an airbnb before, even internationally. Had the circumstances of this apartment been explicitly stated in the description, we would not have chosen it. Although it is evident from other reviews that many people enjoyed their stay and appreciated what it has to offer, I cannot personally recommend it.

Lina and Mark are wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. I was traveling alone and they made me feel very comfortable. Lina takes great care of the listing and pays great attention to detail to make the place extra special, fresh flowers, fresh fruit and water was a really nice touch I appreciated. The room is very comfortable, sunny and breezy and the private bathroom is beautiful. They are a few minutes walk from the beach and the Ecological Reserve which are both incredibly beautiful! It is completely safe to walk around alone which is so pleasant. The pool area is a really nice place to relax too. I had a wonderful stay at Lina's place who went above and beyond to help me. I strongly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

Lina and Mark were very welcoming and helpful. It's all about Location Location Location! the room is very clean and bright with a comfy bed. Very quiet and light filled condo at a stone's throw from beautiful secluded beaches and the Ojos Indigenous reserve where there are lagoons and beautiful paths in the wilderness. Had the pool all to myself, with a view on the marina. The La Yola hut roofed restaurant is right next door, yet very pricey. I found their complimentary shuttle very practical as taxis can become very expensive. The shuttle brings us at specific hours (check the timetable as it does not stop at La Yola in mid-afternoon) to other beaches, restaurants and Punta Cana village where there is also a supermarket. Several times, I opted for Lina's cuisine which did not disappoint. Fresh fish, fruits and veggies which were picked from the Foundation's ecological gardens. Loved her colorful presentations and the sweet fruit desserts. Although not copious, they were well balanced which suited me fine as I was watching my calories. I would sometimes cross over to the Alsol Hotel and luxury village to walk through the Cap Cana marina and gaze at the shops. There are also restaurants and a discotheque. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning yoga class with Lina. All in all, it was a wonderful week!

The place was better than described. Lina stayed in communication since the minute we check-in, and offer us directions to all the places nearby. The community in wich the place is located is huge, offering a wide variety of activities (restaurants, beaches, ecological parks, etc.), and it's located just in front of the Punta Cana Airport. If you're planning to explore the rest of Punta Cana and nearby places, I recommend you to rent a car, since moving around in public transport is very expensive. Overall, a great experience, and would stay at Lina's place anytime. Thank you for all!
