Our home is close to downtown and is located on the sunny side of the valley. You’ll love my place because of the light and the coziness. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). The deck is shared with the neighbor (my mother) and her dogs Gus and Bode who LOVE people. MUST BE OK WITH DOGS! They will want to say hello daily!

The space

Welcome to our home! Enjoy views from the deck or cozy up in front of the fireplace.

The South Facing windows let in TONS of light all day and make for a great spot to hang out.

Other things to note

2 Golden Retriever Dogs share the front deck and yard with this house. Gus and Bode are VERY friendly and love all people. They are used to coming over and saying hi on a regular basis so please don't book if you are not interested in interacting with dogs. We consider them to be part of our family and hope that you'll enjoy them too!

I feel lucky to have had Marsh, his family, & pups as our host over the 4th of July weekend. They were more than accommodating allowing us to check-in early & even providing some of his own personal rafting tubes for us to use for the day. I appreciated his communication before our arrival and during our stay (provided some great directions to close by trails). Their dogs were friendly, relaxed, and really made it feel like home (dog owner). We let them come and go as they pleased. The home was clean, spacious, and in a quiet neighborhood. Has a great view too! We spent each night taking in views from the patio/grass. There are a few short and long TH within walking distance. Splitting the difference between dtown Steamboat and the mountain, the location was perfect. Marsh provided plenty of extra beds, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. He had plenty of living room and kitchen space for dinners, card games, etc. Being there for 4 days, we needed that kind of space. This is a classic cabin-like duplex. The patio is large and shared, each having a side & front yard. Parking was spacious. Neighborhood is well established and has many family generations still around. Marsh and his home were nothing short of perfect for a weekend celebrating America. Thanks Marsh & Fam!

Right from the start, we were greeted by Marsh's mom, Debbie and her adorable dogs (and two moose across the street!). Debbie got us settled in right a way. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us on the counter! Any questions we had, Marsh or Debbie answered immediately. The house was adorable and super clean. We loved all the mountain touches. It was a quick drive to the mountain everyday to ski. Unfortunately, our youngest broke his collar bone on his third day of skiing. The house became even more important as my son and I hung out there for him to recuperate. Debbie even brought over brownies! This was a great first Airbnb experience for us. We would totally try to stay at Marsh's mountain home again!!

I LOVE where I live. I love food, travel, skiing, mountain biking, ski jumping, and the occasional swim in freezing cold water.
