Private, clean, beautiful, safe and peaceful. Great place to escape the city and enjoy the nature of Puerto Rico. I really enjoyed the complimentary Puerto Rican coffee while watching the sunrise on the front patio and listening to the birds. Friendly neighbors. Close to rainforest and beaches. Definitely recommend this home to people that want to experience the natural beauty if Puerto Rico.

I suggest that next time you rent, print out the directions the hosts sends you and it will be much easier to find the homes you rent. Don't rely totally on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps especially in the country. All our guests have no problem finding it by following our directions. Also, next time there is a problem at a house you stay in, I suggest you contact the owner or manager so they can fix it. I noticed the WiFi was disconnected and a breaker was thrown out. Your stay could have been much better.

This place is in an amazing location, excellent to get to know Puerto Rico's east coast and the rainforest. It is secluded from the hassle of the coast, and nestled in a real neighborhood at the end of a quiet street. The inside is very tastefully decorated, generous in space and amenities, and ready for a long stay. Jaymee is not here but quick to respond to questions and very helpful. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the chaos San Juan can be, loves forests, and looks for an authentic PR experience.

Jaymee's place was great for our little family to stay and relax. The location was good for everything we had on the itinerary (close to the ferry at Fajardo, Luquillo Beach, El Yunque, and much more) but had a great secluded feeling being in the rainforest. We especially loved the sounds of the coquis at night and having dinner on the wide deck. You can see Vieques from there on a clear day. Jaymee provided tons of extra information and was very accommodating. There is NOTHING to do in Ceiba, so this is a great place to get away from it all, but you'll want to pick up groceries before doing so.

The house was great. The only tricky part was getting to it. It's in a more secluded location which is good, but at the same time a little drive to get anywhere. The host had a friend on the island that was super helpful, she came and helped us get to the home since even though my husband and I had directions and speak Spanish we couldn't find the home! Gps doesn't always work due to poor signal in that area. It was tricky to find it due to this reason. She walked us in a showed us the home, which was very helpful. The house has two bedrooms for the guests, it was great for my family. It was my husband and I with our two children and baby. The host had everything ready for us. There were plenty of towels, everything you need in the kitchen, basically anything you need in a home was there! Which was great! The home was super clean too. Not to mention beautiful paintings done by the host throughout the home. She also decorated it very nicely. Another thing is due to its location you see a lot of lizards, iguanas, etc. which is wasn't so fond of, but they are harmless. So if you're looking for a hotel type of location, this home is not for you. If your someone who wants to be in touch with nature this home is definitely for you! The neighbors were also friendly. We didn't see them many times, but when we did they always greeted us with a smile. I felt very safe staying here with with my family, and would definitely recommend this home to others!

Jaymee's place is a magnificent stay that is well stocked with all the essentials. The view from the porch looks out to the ocean in the distance. At night, you can here the coqui frogs and other wildlife. My husband loved photographing the lizards that hung out around the house as well. The house is located in a residential area so you do get to hear the neighbors roosters, hens and pigs. It was a bright and early wake up that we enjoyed so that we could get our day started exploring the island. Don't waste your time going in to Fajardo for groceries! Amigos in Ceiba was cheaper and much easier. There is beach close by but it is sort of polluted and run down- there is a nice nature trails there though. Overall, we were very pleased with the house and host, Jaymee. She was quick to respond and offered many helpful hints to enjoying Puerto Rico. *20 minutes from Luquillos kiosks where the nice beach is *25 from El Yunque visitors Center *hour from Old San Juan

I lived in Puerto Rico for over 28 years. I am a professional artist and in Puerto Rico I sold art in El Yunque National Forest for over eight years. I also had a gallery for a while and was very much involved in the art world here. My husband, Palle, is from Denmark and is a master craftsman and inventor. Much of our house is custom designed and built by him. In Puerto Rico he did yacht interiors and many custom projects. At the present time, we are bringing one of Palle's projects to the United States to get it off the ground. I continue to work as an artists and recently helped to open Studios of Cocoa Beach, an art gallery in Florida.
