The Cabin is close to Duckpool and Sandymouth Beach. It's a rural retreat in a one-room wooden chalet with log burner, suitable for couples or small families. It's cabin style back-to-basics accommodation, with a compost toilet, amongst nature next to woodland and sea, with a private garden.

Please bring your own bed linen and towels and leave the cabin clean and take rubbish with you.

Bed linen is available for hire. One basket of fire wood provided.

The space

There is a shower - not hugely powerful but good enough for the job. We have a trampoline in the garden which children are welcome to use (one at a time!).

Such a beautiful cosy cabin in a great location. Close to beach, woods and town, we had a lovely weekend of board games by the log fire and walking. The cabin has everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Thank you!

The cabin was a lovely relaxing retreat in the woods and amazing to be surrounded by nature. We had visits from little kittens and a little bird who would tip tap on our window in the morning :-) We couldn't order the weather but the cabin kept us warm and cosy and the log burner was more than enough to keep us toasty. A great base to explore Bude and the surrounding area. Tintagel was a great day out too. We left feeling recharged and relaxed. A great stay!

Exactly what is described is what you find and the atmosphere of its peaceful situation and surrounding landscape and coast makes it doubly rewarding.

Usefully located for excursions across East Cornwall and Devon, we loved staying at the cabin! Bude, Boscastle, the Eden Project, Polperro and Port Isaac were all less than an hour and a half away and well worth visiting. Our dog’s favourite beach was the one between Trebetherick and Rock, after a trip to visit John Betjeman’s grave. We really enjoyed good real ale at the nearby 13th-century Bush Inn and a pleasant dinner at the Molesworth Arms in Pyworthy. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, and the cabin more spacious than we’d expected. No phone signal, and a decent radio – which was perfect for the autumnal evenings that we spent there beside the burner. Thank you, Leonora, Natalie, et al!

This cabin is perfect getaway. It has a lovely cosy feel, especially when you have the log burner roaring away. The location is brilliant, it's less than 5 minutes drive from the beach, surrounded by woodlands with a great porch and big garden to relax in. We will definitely come again. This place is a hidden gem and something special.
