Where you’ll be

Linden, Virginia, United States

The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood on Apple Mountain. There are some steep inclines/declines getting to/from our house to the main road. All of these roads are paved and are easy to traverse. Our community has excellent snow removal if you are planning a winter stay.
The last stretch of road leading to our house is gravel and level, as is our driveway which is paved. The Apple House Restaurant is 5 minutes away as are 2 gas stations and a 7-11. It is less than 10 minutes to Front Royal where there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and laundry mats. Our close proximity to 66 makes it easy to get to Winchester or Gainesville. The Shenandoah River and Appalachian Trail are minutes away. The Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away. There are also wineries and orchards 10 minutes away. In short, this where people living in the DC area come to recreate.

Mature, non-drinker, non-smoker. Enjoy traveling around the world with my sweetheart and meeting new people. We are quiet and respectful of the properties we stay in and the owner's wishes. We like to watch movies in theaters rather than on a television or tablet. I also enjoy playing golf. Since my kids live in other parts of the country, I am always grateful for the time we are able to spend together.
