Great value for money! Clean room with a balcony and a great breakfast every morning. Location is not central to old Havana: about a 30 min walk but there is some nice restaurants around the neighbourhood. Very sweet hosts! Beware of staying bank holidays in Havana generally, music plays all night long!

Bathroom very dirty and unusable plus no water . No wifi as it was part of package . This is why I had to leave the house soon after my arrival

In Vedado, a residential and quiet district. The room was very nice with a private bathroom and a terrace. Adriana and Daisy are wonderful people.

Oh my goodness, where to start. Okay I visited Havana with a coworker/friend of mine for 2 days and stayed at Dayana's home. We had an amazing time. From the warm welcome of her aunt and grandmom to the turn down service they offered without being asked to do so. They do not speak very much English but tried their best to communicate with us. We eventually started using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translator so if you have some cell service that will help tremendously. The room was big and clean there is a bathroom accessible inside the room. My friend and I were the only ones using This bathroom which was nice. There is a nice balcony overlooking the back yard and a massive mango tree for added value. I love mangoes so it was very appealing to me. We paid to have breakfast prepared for us by our host. It only cost $5 cuc per person per day if you elect to have that provided. We were given a key to go and come as we pleased. However, out of respect we were usually in by 10pm. If you are planning to buy cigars Adriana will provide you with the best brand and more info. This goes for local rum also. The beach Santa Maria is about 45mins -1 hr away if her son is available he will take you there, that is something that has to be negotiated if you get what I mean. The family is so helpful and caring, it was sad to leave. I will be returning hopefully in June and plan to stay with them again. I would definitely recommend this place. Just a heads up the water pressure is a little low in the shower so don't expect the pressure you have wherever your are from. It's a great place to stay at an amazing price with lovely people. Be resepctful of their culture, home and situationally aware and I think you'll have an amazing time. Don't expect hotel amenities from an air bnb in Cuba. The wifi is not good anywhere in Cuba so be prepared to unplug from the digital work and just relax. The home is on the 3rd floor of the walk up building so when you arrive press the 3rd floor bell. The address does not specify the floor and we had to ring all 3 bells. So to help the next person it's floor 3 lol. Hope you enjoy as much as we did. We also slept with the balcony door open for added fresh air. Just lock the metal gate and you'll be good. Okay that's it for now enjoy!!

Staying at Casa Daysi was truly a life changing experience the friendliness and happiness shown came at a time when I really needed it. It takes about 10-20 minutes down the blocks straight to the Malecon. While at the Malecon, the best restaurant is Tablazos the prices Are unreal, 2 people can eat a entire meal with beer for under $20. Americans can walk to the US Embassy 20-35 minutes and use the internet for "free". Momma Daysi and Ariana are excellent cooks, we had a slight language barrier but we were able to get our points across. The home was extremely clean and we had our private bath. Across the street is a market whereas you can buy fresh fruit, etc. I enjoyed the Cuban cuisine and the people are very friendly. This trip to Cuba was my first, I found the island very exciting and educational, when I return I will definitely stay here, sitting on the terrace listening to the birds sing will linger on in my mind for a lifetime.

My wife and I stayed at Dayana's place for 3 nights. They were very helpful in providing us with information before we even arrived in Cuba which is great. The Casa was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! They were also very patient with us despite not being able to speak any Spanish.

Dayana couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful!! I didn't book the Airbnb till I was sleeping in the airport the night before. Almost instantly I was getting responses from Dayana from 4:00 am till 6:00am. She was very helpful with any information you need about Cuba. Although we never met her, the grandma and auntie truly made us feel like part of the family! Helpful hint: do the breakfast at the Airbnb, the best fried egg I have ever had....ever.
