Balorrin is situated near the village of Muir of Ord and is only 20 minutes from Inverness.
The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with en suite bathroom (shower over bath and WC) and an adjoining conservatory. The two twin bedrooms and a single share the second bathroom (bath, WC and separate shower). There is a hairdryer provided. The bedrooms all have curtains and black out blinds.
The open plan kitchen/dining/living area is very light with large windows and a patio door leading to the back garden where you can enjoy a small BBQ and enjoy the tranquility relaxing on the garden furniture. The wood burning stove adds real comfort and warmth, Sky TV, DVD, CD player, radio, wi-fi connection (via dongle) and lots of books, games, puzzles and an ever-expanding box of tourist brochures are all available to make your stay enjoyable. There is seating for 7 around the dining table. The new modern kitchen (all electric) is very well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, electric hand blender etc.
The adjoining utility room has a large sink, clothes washer/dryer, iron and board with door to boot room, back door and garage. The double garage has a ping-pong table and 2 adult mountain bikes.
The property is Central Heated.
Guests have access to the entire property.
Interaction with guests
We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival.
Prior to your arrival we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay.
Other things to note
All bed linen, towels, electricity, WiFi, unlimited wood for the stove and parking are included in the price.
The holiday home is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.
Pets are welcome, but please check if bringing more than one.
A cot and high chair is available at no extra cost.
No parties or events
Check-in time is 4PM - 11PM.
Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay.
