Achnacarry is a cosy and homely cottage situated in a secluded and tranquil spot approximately 2 miles outside the picturesque town of Dornoch, the ideal location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Porch / Entry - The porch consists of 3 cane chairs, one armchair and a coffee table. This is where guests can enjoy the breathtaking unspoilt views of the ever-changing Dornoch Firth through the large window panes facing the garden and sea.
Living Room - The living room consists of 2 sofas, an armchair, a coffee table, two small tables, a writing bureau, a sideboard and a television. The fireplace in this room is for decorative purposes only and cannot be used.
Master Bedroom - This bedroom has one double bed, made of pine, a pine wardrobe and dressing table, a night table and lamp and a large mirror.
Second Bedroom - This bedroom consists of 1 standard single bed and a pull out single bed. There is a chest of pine drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
Kitchen - The kitchen consists of a fridge, oven and fan oven, microwave oven, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and is fully equipped with cutlery, porcelain, etc. Kitchen linen, cloths, etc. are provided.
Bathroom - The bathroom consists of a shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Towels are provided.
Hallway - The hallway connects the living room with the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Here, a set of drawers is available to guests as additional storage space.
Garage / Parking - There is a garage on the premises which houses one car. There is parking space for 2 additional cars
Garden - The house has a very large garden, situated at the back of the property. This slopes down to unused farmland which borders on the Dornoch Firth beach. A small garden at the front of the house runs parallel to the road and leads to the garage and additional parking space.
General - The cottage has oil-fired central heating throughout.
Guests have access to the entire property.
Interaction with guests
We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival.
Prior to your arrival we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay.

All bed linen and towels are provided.
Electricity and heating is included in the price.
Wi-Fi internet access included - own laptop required.
A welcome pack of washing-up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and soap is included.
No parties or events
Check-in time is 4PM - 11PM.
Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay.
