Don't hesitate to go and stay if you wish to learn how to prepare some Japanese specialties, Yuca is a great Chef! Yuca and her family are great hosts ! Their home is very comfortable and located very close of Tabata station (Yamanote Line) Easy to find some typical restaurants in their area as well as shops.

If you're coming to Tokyo for the first time, this is the place to stay. YUCa is incredibly helpful, warm and kind. She'll answer any questions you may have, whether it be about things to do in Tokyo or how to work a Japanese bath. Her breakfasts each morning were varied and incredibly tasty (she is a talented cook who teaches classes!) and she even packed us a small lunch for the Shinkansen when we moved onto Kyoto. The location is a small walk from the nearest train station (10-15 minutes) but YUCa supplies accurate instructions on how to reach the accommodation the first time you arrive. The room is spacious and the amenities on offer are of great quality (downstairs toilet pretty much only used by the guests, good shower and bath, we were given the offer to wash and dry clothes). There are two small dogs who live here too, both who are lovely but one can be loud at first (though he's a little softy after the first meeting, and this shouldn't be a put off to anyone thinking of coming here). As someone who isn't a dog person, I enjoyed their company! This is a great location. Our trip was made so much better for staying here. Thank you for everything YUCa!
