Enjoy the fall in Kingston - a perfect point to start exploring the Hudson Valley. The house is clean and quiet, in a safe residential neighborhood, and the backyard is protected wetlands. The foliage will be vibrant the next few months right out your window! There are plenty of hiking and climbing trails, good restaurants, shopping, galleries, bars, and music venues. You’ll enjoy the comfy bed, the views (a flock of wild turkey strutting around usually included!) and the location. Welcome!
The house is cozy, but has almost all amenities you will need. Your room has a writing desk and matching nightstand, plenty of hangers and space in the closet, and books on the area, too. Bring your tablets and laptops - there's a bluetooth speaker/alarm/charger in your room to watch or listen to your favorite things through the strong wifi. There are plenty of beer and wine glasses, and kitchenware if you want to grab take out. There's a comfy couch in the living room where sunlight and stars stream through a skylight, a large bookcase to peruse, and a glass dining room table. The sunroom has a comfortable set of chairs, perfect for a quiet breakfast amongst the trees and birds. It provides you a panoramic view of the wetlands. If you're brave enough, put your boots on and check out the woods extending far behind the house. Or you can build a fire in the fire pit, just bring some extra firewood!
Your room is next to the bathroom, which is very convenient. There's plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You'll have clean sheets and towels, an extra blanket in the closet, a reading lamp as well as a ceiling fan.
Meanwhile, in the morning for breakfast, the kitchen is also only steps away. You're welcome to organic coffee, a variety of teas, as well as toast with butter or preserves - or whatever else is in the kitchen - eggs, cereal, juice, bananas, etc.
You're welcome to enjoy any of the common spaces like the sunroom, kitchen, living room, and of course outside!
