This is a lovely place for a break in the sun. This first floor apartment is spacious, has a laid back style and has everything you will need. The wildlife in the well- manicured gardens of this small complex, is delightful. There are monkeys, geckos, tree frogs, crickets, cicadas and all sorts of birds, doves, sparrows, blackbirds, hummingbirds and more. The doves and sparrows are almost tame but the monkeys keep a respectful distance. The insect life is remarkably benign. I saw only one or two mosquitos during my stay here. There are very few flies. Whilst there is no air conditioning, the breeze kept us comfortable at all times particularly at night. This is a comfortable place for deep, undisturbed sleep The swimming pool is a decent size and is always cool and refreshing. I often felt as if I had the whole complex to myself. The view of the garden and the sea from both of the two balconies is stunning. The beach is a short walk down some steps at the end of the garden. Here again, it is rare to see anyone on the beach that is a lovely place to relax and sunbathe. This is a comparatively remote part of the island although you are never far from the action and the gentler swimming conditions on the South and West coasts. There is a reasonable choice of restaurants nearby. There is an excellent supermarket that carries a huge variety of stock, less than a ten-minute drive, away. There were very few problems during my stay and Anna, the owner was quick to respond and was helpful and courteous throughout. Both Anna and Ginger Bay have my highest recommendation.
