The Neighborhood
Over the past few years, a slew of developments along San Francisco’s grandest thoroughfare has led to the recent minting of a shiny new Mid-Market neighborhood. The seven-block stretch of Market Street, between Van Ness and 5th Street, is relishing renewed vitality, with the openings of killer markets, restaurants, bars, culture and more.

The apartment is lovely, nicely furnished and quite large. It is better than in the pictures. It is fine for four people. We were two couples, one had their bedroom upstairs in the mezzanine floor which was very nice, the other one was sleeping in the living space (the sofa folds down, but it is not an actual "bed" like in a pull-out sofa), but you can sleep well anyways. Despite this, we found the place perfect for us. The kitchen is well equipped, you can find all you need. We haven't met Lynne, but communicating with her was extremely easy through messaging and she gave us suggestions and help. Overall, I would surely recommend this apartment.

A fabulous space - very quiet, decently equipped kitchen, with great bed & shower. The roof terrace is shared, but in our 3 nights here, nobody else used it. Lynne's communications were great, the check in was easy, and she gave lots of helpful trip suggestions.

We just returned from a 3-week trip to the US, including several nights in Lynne's loft apartment in San Francisco. We had a great time -- the apartment was very clean and spacious. Check in was easy and Lynne was very helpful with her suggestions and very responsive to any questions that we had. Thoroughly recommended.

This beautiful apartment was perfect for we two grandparents and our 12 year old grandson. A short walk to public transportation and a very neat food market. Well equipped for cooking and eating in, should that be your preference. Lynne is a great host providing helpful advice and we highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with stunning art on the walls, comfortable sleeping options for our group of four, and a well-equipped kitchen. Thank you, Lynne!

Lynne was an excellent host. She made our stay welcoming and comfortable for us to relax in her spacious home. We loved that we were able to walk to Union Square, museums, and the civic center. Lynne's guest book was full of suggestions that we followed. Since there are many people living on the streets, as expected in any metropolitan area, you have to be aware of this, follow her tips, and you will be fine. Never once did we feel unsafe. Our trip was great!

I have lived in San Francisco since 1995, most of the time in the downtown area. I love this city. I am familiar with some of the jazz and music performance community and will be happy to make recommendations for you during your stay. I am a jazz singer and aspiring musician. I perform primarily in San Francisco and the bay area. I am part of The Red Poppy Art House community.

I enjoy cooking when I travel, so the kitchen is well-provisioned. When you're here, if you find you need any additional cooking implements, don't hesitate to contact me, I might be able to lend you what you need. soma_loft
