The chalet was really lovely- so comfortable and well equipped. Carol was a great host and the morning croissants an unexpected treat. A really quiet base but close to the centre.

What a beautiful chalet Angela has. We only stayed for 2 nights but wish we had time to stay much longer. The chalet was equipped with everything you needed. The bed is super comfortable, the decor is beautiful and the linen and towels smell divine! The morning delivery of freshly baked goods was wonderful. Can't wait to return!

Carol was a fantastic host, arranging for croissants and bread to be delivered every day, and the chalet was perfect - just the right size, in fantastic condition and a great location with stunning views across to Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles. And the glorious Chamonic weather did the rest. I REALLY didn't want to go home!

Carol and Gerard are friendly hosts. The chalet is in a beautiful spot, only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Chamonix. Carol offered us the opportunity to have fresh bread and pastries for breakfast which was great. Would highly recommend.

It's a little cute cabin by the road next to the main house. The interior is comfortable and very clean. The shower and the bathrooms are modern. Also the bed is very comfortable. The cabin is a tad smaller than the pictures suggest and there is hardly a sitting area specially if you have suitcases with you. There are coffee and tea and toaster available, the host leaves fresh bakery every morning by your door. Carol was very pleasant to deal with. She was very flexible on our check in time as we arrived late. The location is very good, very close to town centre and also close to all ski resorts around Chamonix. The wifi wasn't working when we were there, and when it did it was way too slow. In the hotter seasons that you need the windows open you will hear the noise of the car passing by the road. All together I will recommend this place for few days stay in the area.

Yes the wifi is a little slow but No one has signaled a problem so far. As for the noise of cars I do realise if you have the window open you may hear the cars pass by but it's not really a busy road.

What a stunning mini Chalet! The place is exactly like the pictures, if not better! We had an fantastic weekend stay, the location is great, a short 10 minute walk to the lifts of Flegere or a short bus ride the opposite way to Chamonix lifts. In the evening the walk into town is 20 mins down a short path. The hosts are such lovely people, even allowing us to move our booking due to a flight cancellation and stay an extra night. Croissants and bread waiting in the morning were such a lovely touch. If you're going to Chamonix as a couple I'm not sure why you'd stay anywhere else!!!

What an epic experience to live in this Chalet ! We were touring from a “not so cold” country and surely had the jitters regarding the comfort in the chalet especially when the temperatures during our visit hovered around 3 C. But Carols chalet and her hosting did the magic and we had the best time of our France tour, in Chamonix.... We know for sure, a trip to Chamonix cannot be complete without living in Carols small Chalet. Its a km away from the centre but, the walk to and fro .. is stupendous. The morning breakfast of warm breads and croissants gets you going. Highly recommended!!!
