We had a great stay at Celia's place. Location was close to central station and in the trendy Jordaan neighborhood (lots of cafes, shops, canals). It's walking distance to central and the museum areas too. You get a feel of what it's like to live in a quaint canal neighborhood in…

We loved Celia’s home. It is in a great location. It close to restaurants and sites in Amsterdam but still has a neighborhood feel to it. There were 5 of us and we rented her 3 floors. The home is light and has many rooms to gather in. The top floor has a beautiful roof top view …

Celia’s place is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Amsterdam, but amazingly it is also within walking distance of all of the best Amsterdam sights! Her place is perfect for 2 couples and two kids (or two single adults) and includes 2 kitchens. The bedroom on the top floor …

Response from Celia:
Dear Katie, thank you for your kind words. Very happy you enjoyed your stay. It is true that A/C is so little needed in Amsterdam that most houses do not have this. +being a monumental building.... Stairs...Yess, I know, it is no fun with heavy suitcases. In (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) houses had these stairs because all big things go by the outside through the window. Typical Amsterdam and the reason why most houses are leaning a bit forward. When moving all is flying in the air, washing machine, sofa etc, that why we prefer to move with the help of strong men :-) . When I was giving birth to my son there was a risk I had to be transported to hospital by being taken out the window by the firemen. Trust me, the family abroad all hoped to witness that. :-)
