Our guests will enjoy comfortable and quiet sleeping quarters within a spacious, furnished, and private basement with a lounge and office/work space (we may access the basement gym during designated hours). Our home is located right between Washington DC, and the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. Moments away, there are restaurants, parks, footpaths, shopping, and events of all kinds. Our residence is perfect for travelers, visiting family, couples, and business functions.
Guests enjoy a beautiful and spacious basement, with private sleeping quarters and private bathroom. There is an option for one king bed, or two twin beds. There is also a couch in the lounge area that one can sleep on if need be. Wi-Fi is provided, however we do not have a television in the space. We do provide a mini-fridge, and have several books to peruse through at your leisure.

Interaction with guests
Guests are welcome to communicate with us by any convenient method whether it be text, email, or face-to-face. We will otherwise interact within the shared spaces, and as we go through the basement to and from the gym during designated hours.
Other things to note
We have a young, medium-sized dog named Hailey who is affectionate and quiet. To respect guest privacy, she will not be allowed in the basement.
- Ideal guests are friendly, clean, and courteous. No shoes worn indoors please.
We are Helen and John, and we have started to build our life here in beautiful Manassas, Virginia. We love taking road trips, hiking in one of the many parks and trails Northern Virginia offers, playing with our dog Hailey, and exploring new destinations and cuisine. Out of all the places we've traveled, we definitely have a soft spot for New Orleans and Boston.
We enjoy Korean, Ethiopian, Mexican, Thai, and Vietnamese food (there are some great local joints), re-watching The Office, and playing old school board games. We look forward to hearing from you!
