Liz was fantastically helpful as air bnb site was being problematical with booking arrangements. Great spot, great room, fantastic bathroom, couldn't have been a more helpful host

The building is a bit old, the stairs are lined with carpet so you smell the smell of dust. The apartment is on the third floor, I think it has been recently renovated. The location is great, within a few minutes you have the metro station and below the building there is the bus stop. The room is not very large and there is no closet to hang the clothes. For a short stay it's okay. Liz is kind.

Response from Liz:
Thanks Monica - The room is exactly as shown in the photos - no closet. We are fully repainting the common area and making a few cosmetic updats so yes it smells like dust a bit

Another fantastic stay, Liz's is my go to flat when in London as I visit frequently for business and holiday. It is on the third floor so quiet serene and a lot of privacy. Large room and contemporary shower and bathroom. The shower is comfy and more modern than most hotels/airbnb I have stayed at. I've never had any issues with shower water as mentioned by other guest. In addition to easy access to public transportation, there are 20+ restaurants cafes that offer many choices within 5 min walking. I enjoyed the stay and highly recommend!

The room is good sized, with a very comfortable queen bed. The flat is nicely decorated and the host keeps it very clean and offers a range of bath products for the use of the guests. The location is near Portobello Market and there is a bus stop right outside the door. The flat is at the top of a 4 floor walk up building, with an additional flight of steps to the front door, so be aware if you have a lot of luggage, as we did. With two people in summer, the room got a little stuffy, so we opened the window at night onto a very busy street that did not quiet down until midnight. A fan might have helped circulate the air, without having to open the window to the noise, There is a problem with the shower as the water can run into the main bathroom, the host has a system of towels to stop the water so that takes some getting used to. The listing does say no cooking, we would suggest not bringing any food at all. We bought cereal, milk, bread, cheese and fruit to store but the host was not happy with our use of the refrigerator.

Minimal requirements. A recently redone apartment (on the 5th floor) decorated with styles in an old/no-lift building. Liz's place was not big but the room is quite spacious. Room furnitures were mostly not practical, no working desk no night stand no place to hang clothes etc. The shower disappointed me the most. I understand the water easily splashes for an open shower but the shower head was adjusted to an extreme angle I must lean on wall to get wet. It could be a nice place to crash, but shouldn't charge this much. Just don't go with high expectation.

Thank you so much Liz for the amazing stay! Perfect central location that's close to the tube station and Portobello Road with plenty of great spots for food. Communication was timely and directions were clear, and the neighborhood is so quaint and lovely with a typical London feel. Definitely staying here again when I visit London again, thank you again! :)
