Great check-in experience95% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

We are converting an airport shuttle bus into a "tiny home." Because much is yet to be done, we are charging only a fraction of what this 240 sq ft "home" will ultimately rent for. Meanwhile, you will still have the incredible lake views, Cal King bed, TV (plus VHS/DVD player and tons of movie titles), coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. You'll also be able to enjoy the other activities our guests participate in free of charge (e.g., canoe and kayaks, barbecue pits, fire rings, etc.).

Mike’s place is an RV Park with converted buses into stylish rooms with A/C, TV and WiFi. Mike and his staff are incredibly friendly and are extremely quick to deal with any request. The Clearlake location is wonderful, right on the waters edge with fire pits free kayaks! I would…

We loved our stay in the Tiny Home! This is a converted airport shuttle bus, so no frills, but it's cosy and warm - with a big comfortable bed and amazing views. We loved our stay, and made the most of the free canoe for an early morning trip on the lake. The nearby bar/restauran…

Glad to hear you had a great trip, Helen, and we appreciate your kind words. Although I agree that there are limited frills, I feel that the "no frills" description is a bit strong. The unit has a TV, microwave, wireless Internet, coffee maker, refrigerator, mini split heat and air system, and the world's coolest door. [It's an airport shuttle bus which has a door that has taken us months to set up to run independent of the engine. I believe there was even a "kink" when you were there. (Sorry about that.) But it's now functioning perfectly, and our latest visitors are enjoying the novel entry/exit from this unique unit.] We also are setting up a system that will allow guests to change the lighting (with the colors and brightness to fit their mood), as well as adjust the temperature, and control other functionalities ... all with their cell phones. (Talk about a frill!) Other amenities are planned as well. Meanwhile, it has the frill that you mentioned (and that usually costs hundreds - or even thousands - of dollars per night to enjoy (if you can find it at all): AMAZING VIEWS. We're very glad you were able to paddle into one of those views with the "free canoe." (As you know, we also have kayaks. On top of that, we just purchased an awesome paddle boat. (Website hidden by Airbnb) (Website hidden by Airbnb) In any event, it was a pleasure to have had you join us, and we thank you for your visit as well as your kind words. May your future travels be safe and enjoyable, and we look forward to perhaps having you back with us in the not-too-distant future. - Mike (owner)

This is really a beautiful place to stay - the views are amazing! The bus itself is such a quirky place to stay... as they said it's not complete but for me it added to its charm! Being a child at heart I loved that you could sit in the bus drivers seat and look out over the la…

The place looks like the description. Aurora was not there but did everything she was able to to make our stay easy. Thanks Aurora.

[For those who are not aware, the name of the park is the Aurora RV Park & Marina. Our managers, however (Jackie & Deb) along with our other great workers (Uriah, Steven & Cory) do everything they are able to do to make our guests have a visit as magnificent as our views of the lake and as enchanting as the adventures found when paddling (for free) in our canoe or kayaks.]

Thanks so much to our hosts. What a really beautiful location and so quirky to live in a bus for the night We arrived late and appreciated the welcome at that hour as well as the spin on the beautiful lake in a kayak and swinging in the hammock in the morning. The birdsong was…

The location is right on the lakeside with a lovely view and BBQ / outside area to watch the world go by. The home/bus is comfortable with a big bed plus some space to sit and eat / relax, a microwave fridge and TV but overall is still basic (kinda "glamping") and is something …
