Our Cornish converted barn nestles in the idyllic hamlet of Treveddoe Farm in Warleggan, said to be 'twinned with Narnia'. Set on a private regenerative farm, the Barley Crush offers the perfect self-catering rural 'home from home' escape. With acres of rolling pasture from the doorstep, enjoy the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor, picnics in our ancient oak woodland, wild swims in the River Bedalder and cosy up by the roaring fire, or unwind in the romantic terraced garden, under starlight.

The space
Sleeping 5, the Barley Crush provides spacious comfort and spectacular views, perfect for both family, and romantic escapes. A large fully equipped kitchen dining space is perfect for those sociable eating occasions, with doors out to the terraced garden. A cosy living area fit with a crackling wood burner awaits following winter walks. The barn has two bedrooms, upstairs with a King size bed and en-suite bathroom, and the other downstairs is a twin room with a pull out bed to accommodate 3 if required, and a family bathroom next door.

Utility space with a washing machine and tumble dryer, cot and highchair are also available.

New for 2024, The Big Barn is open to guests to enjoy. With a wood-burning stoves, books, sofas, table tennis, and lots of space it is a gorgeous additional place to relax, read, play games, or practice your daily yoga.

The Barley Crush is brilliantly placed for exploring and enjoying a Cornwall self catering holiday. The barn has been comfortably furnished and equipped with everything to make a perfect family holiday. The barn displays a varied and attractive collection of contemporary art, some painted by the owner Jenny Hill-Norton.

Nothing is too distant from Treveddoe with the Eden Project only 20 minutes away, and several well known beaches an easy drive away for fun filled sunny days out! It is perfect at any time of the year; in the summer for long lazy lunches and picnics in the surrounding fields and woods or in the winter for when bright sunny days make walking positively exhilarating and a cosy log burning fire awaits your return!

Other things to note
There is currently no central heating but has a good wood burner and has electric radiators in each room.
