This apartment was much more comfortable that we thought, based on the advertisement. Check in was easy, view on the sea of Galilee is great. However, it says "fully equipment kitchen" in the advertisement and that is not true. We had pans, but nothing to heat the pans with (no gas, no electric plates). Discovering that after a long day of hiking, we were disappointed that the reception was not able to provide us with any alternative to cook, so we had to eat outside. They promised to provide us with cooking facilities on our second day, but did not keep there promise: there was simply no cooking possibility. The people from the reception did not seem to care for us. If you don't want to cook, don't have any special needs and just want to be in Tiberias, this is a wonderful location to stay. But if you need the reception for something like cooking, it becomes complicated and I would recommend you to go elsewhere.
This apartment was perfectly adequate for our needs. It is about a 25 minute walk into town (downhill). There is a convenient bus stop only three minutes away. The place was clean, and we were provided with fresh towels after two nights. Comfortable bed. Nice view. Great shower. Downsides: The place has the feel of economical hotel. It is part of a complex called Arazim, which seems to be a place for short term rental location for foreigners and locals. We were anticipating a more lived-in, community feel. We did not find the place to be very inviting. In addition, the kitchen was bare-bones.
