Great location and being on beach was perfect for our Ironman Wales visit. Thanks Samuel

This house's strength is its great location situated in the centre of Saundersfoot close to all amenities. Rear of the property offers a patio garden with direct access to the beach. However, house needs to be refurbished - it is tired and needs to have improved bathroom facilities. We had some issues around cleanliness.

Response from Samuel:
I would like to thank Peter for his feedback that will help me going forward. Peter told me about some cleaning issues. To rectify the matters I immediately sent my housekeeping there. As Peter told me privately that he wanted more bath rooms I must agree this would be an improvement and I am investigating how to achieve this. However there are 'only' 2 bath rooms there now as detailed in my listing.

Fantastic location but this property needs some TLC and WiFi - and so I wont be returning to this listing

Response from Samuel:
I do respect your opinion and we do have TLC program in place. The house is as described : see photos and wifi (=no) as most people carry their own. It is accredited by the Welsh Tourism Board 3 Star. This not 5 Star, has not been claimed to be and is reflected in price. Hence I feel this feedback is unfair and can only negatively affect other families' holidays in a fantastic location. I refer to the ones who cannot afford 5 Stars. Further about prising please note the time of the year and it is a very large house. Response time: I must further claim that your negative feed back about being slow to respond is very inaccurate by any standards: I reply within an hour 99% of the time and never more than 24h. This also applied to the total number of some 23 messages with you. Further including when you forgot your instructions that were given to you well in advance and you were standing behind the door.. I promptly helped you out of trouble (It was because of this issue had been sorted that I had not alarmed my dad who helps and in his message to you he acting for me was confused why he did not know anything about your message - for clarity- as it had been sorted). You have mentioned one or two other problems that I wish you had brought to my attention when discovered as I always try my utmost and rectify issues without delay= 24h. That is why I give all my direct contact details and encourage you to contact me for any problems. I am most sorry that we could not meet your high expectation this time.

Brilliant location, amazing views, the beach is at the end of the garden which is fantastic, you can sit in the garden and watch the children on the beach. The house is big and all the rooms are a good size, some of the decor particularly upstairs looks a bit tired and dated.

Response from Samuel:
Hi Pauline. Thank you for your kind feedback. You are right as the house is big we follow a schedule of repairs and improvements and continue towards the upper floors next winter. Kind regards. Samuel

My extended family and I have just got home following a brilliant stay at this house. The kitchen diner is a fabulous space and the terrace overlooking the bay is a great place to watch the world go by. The upstairs of the property is slightly dated, however it's all very clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that the property doesn't have wifi, and the mobile signal is poor and sometimes non existent, so if you want to be online during your stay you might struggle in this house (it is fine just down the road in the main town). The internet / phone connectivity aside, we'd highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a beach holiday in a great seaside resort.

Hi Julia. Thank you for your kind feedback. You are right as the house is big we follow a schedule of repairs and improvements and continue towards the upper floors next winter. I am sorry and aware of occasional signal problems in the close proximity due to the steep hill side immediately behind the building. Kind regards. Samuel

Views to die for with a lower ground floor to match, if you find stairs difficult there are 4 flights inside the house and one down to the beach, it is in a great position for the dhops, restaurants, pubs and if course the beach
