My accommodation is in the small, ancient and car-free village of Poggio di Loro. Near Loro Ciuffenna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The house is intimate, well-kept, the garden with a view of the Pratomagno massif. The village tells stories of simple people. Near Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Chianti.
Streams with clear water for swimming. No public transport. Private parking 200m away.
The space
HOUSE WITH GARDEN IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN ITALY
The house is nestled in the characteristic and intact medieval village of Poggio di Loro. A village without cars at 660 meters above sea level. Mountain hamlet of Loro Ciuffenna (4 km) one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The village is inhabited by about 60 residents, which allows you to experience the authentic sense of a small Italian community.
The house, about 80 square meters, totally independent, ground roof, is composed as follows:
- at street level (access) there is the kitchen, living room with fireplace (wood is not included), wooden floor, view of the village and the Pratomagno mountain. It is fully equipped with dishes, table linens and appliances (oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven);
The use of methane gas for heating costs 2.5 Euro per cubic meter (meter reading at the beginning of the holiday and at check out).
-on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (mountain view) the other with a 140cm queen-size bed (village view); a bathroom and a small terrace overlooking the village
-on the floor below there is another bathroom and available space; from here you access the garden with a pergola and table to have lunch or, in summer, dinner outdoors enjoying the spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Poggio di Loro (Pratomagno). There is a reserved parking 200 meters from the house. Many possible walks and rivers where you can swim.

The Prada outlet is about 10 km away, while in Leccio (Reggello, about 30 minutes by car) there is one of the largest and most popular Italian outlets with the most famous brands. Also in the cities of Terranuova, San Giovanni and Montevarchi, as well as Florence of course, you can make good purchases.
HOW TO REACH THE MAIN TOWNS (Chianti, Siena, Florence, Arezzo)
A car is essential because there is no public transport from Poggio di Loro. Although 4 km away in Loro Ciuffenna you can leave your car and continue by public bus. Unfortunately there are not many buses.
10 km away there is the Valdarno A1 motorway toll booth, from here Florence (south toll booth) can be reached in 20 minutes, Arezzo in 10 minutes (Arezzo toll booth).

About 10 km away are the train stations of Terranuova Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno where you can also park your car and continue by train towards Florence (30 minutes), towards Arezzo (20 minutes). To reach Siena, we recommend the car, taking about 40 minutes.
