If you are interested in living in a traditional style house and sleep on futon, then this is the house for you. We have 5 people and it was spacious enough for all of us. Just to take into consideration, the place is located nearby a train station but you need to change from JR line to subway line to get there. This might be slightly inconvenient and cost you extra if you are travelling on Japan Rail Pass. Another thing to consider is there's no lift and the apartment is located on 3rd floor so if you carry lots of luggages like me, it's quite an exercise to carry them all up. Overall, Jonathan is a great host who is more than happy to tell you about Japanese culture and the house description is accurate as shown in the pictures.

Response from Okaeri Homes:
Mrs. Ines, the neighbourhood you stayed in is one of the best in Tokyo and also quite convenient with transportation. The nearest subway station, Nishi-Shinjuku station, is only 6 mins walk from our accommodation and 1 stop from Shinjuku station. While travelling in central Tokyo, it is recommended to use the Tokyo metro subway lines instead of JR lines since many locations such as Ginza, Tsukiji and Asakusa are only accessible by subway. JR lines and JR pass is meant for travelling Japan from one city to another with the Shinkansen or bullet train. It is not the best option to travel locally in central Tokyo. In regards to the luggage, we usually send a staff over to help our guest during check in and check out. However, since you only provided us with an email address, it was difficult to keep in contact during the correct times and make the arrangements for you. As for all our other guest, as mention to you earlier, we keep in contact through we-chat or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) to make things easier. On your next stay with us, we hope you could give us more than an email address so that we can better assist you.
