Originally built in 1957 as the Imperial Oil headquarters, this 21-storey building was then the city’s tallest building. Constructed with a limestone façade and steel frame, the Imperial Building stood as the largest all-welded steel frame structure in the world. The glamour of this iconic building was recaptured in a magnificent 2014 conversion retrofit that seamlessly blends its fascinating history with luxurious touches in this unique condominium.
Today, this Toronto condo serves as an example of mid-century international style modernism at one of the city’s most coveted addresses. The building is widely recognized for its dramatic, two-storey polished marble lobby housing York Wilson’s two mural masterpiece, “The Story of Oil.”

Other things to note
Imperial Plaza is just steps from Delica Kitchen, Aroma Espresso Bar or Presse Café for that morning brew. Not on the mood to cook? You’ll find Gourmet Secondi, or The Sprout Restaurant a short stroll away. If you’re looking for a cool spot to hang out with friends over a beer, try Union Social, Bistro Five61 or Midtown Gastropub. If a home-cooked meal is your preference, groceries can be found at Bruno’s Fine Foods or Longo's which is located in the lobby of the condo. Want to catch the latest flick? Just head over to Cineplex Entertainment. For nearby green space, Glenn Gould Park, Poplar Plains Park or Robertson Davies Park are great places to get some fresh air or relax with a good book. Pets are allowed but a $50 a night extra guest fee will apply. I allow vaping in the condo. Smoking in the condo will be charged a $200 cleaning fee.

I am a lawyer and mother of three children. We love to travel extensively around the world. I love many outdoor activities and often travel to scuba dive or watch International Basketball. I love city life but also need solitude and relaxation. I enjoy staying in homes as they are often much more personal and comfortable then hotels.
