The cottage is situated on the Westhide Estate and provides a contemporary and cosy holiday get-a-away in the beautiful county of Herefordshire.

The Westhide Estate offers a peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind. Enjoy walking through its 400 acre oak woodland, fishing in one of its two pools which are mainly filled with carp, or just sipping a glass of wine whilst enjoying the incredible views of the Malvern Hills and Black Mountains - both of which provide outstanding hiking, mountain biking and horse riding opportunities.

Attractions and nearby amenities

Enthusiastic walkers can easily walk the three miles to the neighbouring village of Withington to find the Cross Keys public house (bar only) and local shop.
Food and wine connoisseurs will enjoy visits to Westons Cider, the Three Choirs vineyard and historic wool town of Ludlow - famous for its numerous Michelin Star restaurants - time it right and you could enjoy one of the many fantastic local food festivals, including Abergavenny and Ludlow.
Hereford is just six miles away and benefits from a mainline station, making access by rail an option. Worcester is also within easy driving distance and offers a wealth of restaurants, shops, entertainment and attractions.
Other places to visit in the area include the historic Eastnor Castle surrounded by a beautiful arboretum, lake and deer park, the beautiful gardens at Hampton Court offering a variety of events throughout the year and the popular tourist town of Symmonds Yat.
There is also horse racing at Hereford and Cheltenham and the many farmers' markets hosted in the local market towns of Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Hay-on-Wye - also home of the Guardian Literary Festival.
Another wonderful place to explore is the Hereford Cathedral and Mappa Mundi which is unique in Britain's heritage. An outstanding treasure of the medieval world, it records how 13th century scholars interpreted the world in spiritual as well as geographical terms.

Lovely house in rural location. Not much nearby, but by car, only a short distance, like eight minutes to Hereford, and easy drives to interesting places like Ledbury and into the Breacon Becons in Wales,
