Our beach house was the first one ever built in Anchor point. It was constructed in 1990 by some of the first and finest surfers in Morocco, it is only 10 metres from the sea and sometimes at high tide you can even feel the spray from the ocean.

The space

We have hosted several surf champions such as Rury Russel, Mikey Dora and Gary Elkerton while hosting 100's more from all over the world. You can enjoy the waves from the balcony and when in bed all you have to do is lift your head and you can see the surf. This house is the best you can get in this beautiful region, it is very authentic but at the same time chic with killer views and the sun hits you from sunrise to sunset.

Guest access

The surrounding environment is very surf oriented, it is only a 10 minute walk to the local surfing mecca of Taghazout but the house is far enough away to feel disconnected and to get away from it all. There is of course wifi but there is no TV, which can only be a good thing .

Interaction with guests

surfing is not your thing, there are so many other things to do, from mountain trails to desert adventures, fishing to shopping at the Souk, or just read a book and relax in the sun.

This was a simple dream! If you love nature and getting back to basics this is glorious. With one cooking hot plate, a BBQ, moon lit evenings and a beautiful quite beach. Don't be scared by the dogs, they are vaccinated and will look out for you with great loyalty, they even followed us to town one day! For those of you who don't surf and might not be in 'the know' theres a strong rip tide towards the rocks at anchor point( left side) someone was dragged out to sea and the morocan coast guards only sent a jet ski to look. Sadly they were not found. On a positive note this place is a piece of paradise, you can swim but done get out of your depth. You might even buy a fish from one of the locals and BBQ. The friendly host kept Moania kept in touch on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) the whole time. Enjoy!

Do expect a basic accomodation. It's charming in a way but also very basic. There is no light in the bedroom area and the drain in the bathroom doesn't function and the smell is therefore quite horrible. Also sometimes the electricity didn't work, but this is a problem many accommodations in Taghazout have.
