Drive over the bridge to this 2 bedroom, 1,000 square foot detached home on Harstine Island. Two queen beds, one in bedroom, one in loft. Sofa bed for children on main level.
This is the guest house and located next to our home, particularly good for those wanting a getaway, kayakers, beachcombers, or boaters. People of all nationalities and backgrounds are welcome
Relax on the front deck, gaze at the beautiful view of the water and uninhabited forested island beyond. Watch the world go by, feed the ducks, listen to the wind in the tall native evergreen forest and the sounds of nature. This is an unspoiled, natural setting for you to enjoy, a very quiet retreat atmosphere. There are no stoplights, street lights, or noise.
We have a fire pit, foosball, kids toys and bikes with a paved safe bike riding area. The seasonal swimming pool is solar heated and warm when the sun shines. The county boat launch is 1 mile away and we have plenty of parking for your trailerable boat.
You will have access to all of our wooded 2 1/2 acre site including trails, 350' of beach, paved driveways, and woods. Our art studio, Harstine Island Design, is a few steps away, and you are welcome to visit when we are open.

Our home is next door, so we are available should you need assistance.
Other things to note
For children, we have a Pack-and Play, and age appropriate toys for young ones. There is a hide-a-bed on the main level so kids can sleep near the adults. Don't forget to stop for groceries on the way!

- Loft access ladder not suitable for children under 7 years.

We are retired. Jann, Public School Superintendent; Bob, Architect. Our artist studio, Harstine Island Design, is nearby where Jann sews fiber art and Bob builds furniture. We love to travel and meet new people. We love children and we welcome children here.
