Welcome to our creekhouse, in the “land of pleasant living.” As our name implies, we are a waterfront home on the shore of Rock Creek, a tributary off the Patapsco River and the Chesapeake Bay. We dock our sailboat there and have a floating dock where you will have access to a paddleboat, rowboat, and kayak to explore our pretty and calm creek. Take the boats up to the headwaters of the creek and explore the marshy areas and various birds and wildlife resident there or paddle downstream to view the pretty homes lining the shore. Say hello to the Great Blue Heron who lives by our dock or the Osprey who visit year after year. There’s even the occasional Bald Eagle in our creek! There are numerous waterside restaurants serving seafood and local fare as well as neighborhood kitchens in a safe and family oriented community.
The suite you will rent consists of a private entrance; kitchen, bedroom, livingroom and full, private, bathroom. The bedroom has a queensized bed for restful nights. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop and fridge. There is a cozy livingroom with a day bed that opens up for 2 extra beds if needed, a TV with cable and wireless access. You will share access to our washer and dryer, located on the same level, with us. Pleasant evenings are enjoyed outside, in comfortable chairs enjoying view of the creek. A charcoal grill (charcoal provided) is available for outdoor grilling.

Interaction with guests
We live upstairs and will be available as needed to share information about area restaurants and local events. We try our best to be quiet but our 6 year old grandson has moved back in with us and can be active. Just let us know if it becomes bothersome.
Other things to note
We share access to washer and dryer. We have a shorthaired cat upstairs in our space. She is friendly and either stays with us or goes outside.
