This is a great little apartment that is exactly as described. We really enjoyed the location, just a few blocks from Parque Calderon, the central square, with restaurants and markets within a short walking distance. Also it is close to another square, Parque San Sebastian, a tranquil, pretty park to relax in. This apartment is a great home base for a stay in Cuenca. It is very comfortable and well stocked with a nice, modern kitchen and bathroom. We especially appreciated the washer/dryer! Alejandra, the manager, was very helpful in checking us in and following up on questions/concerns we had. This is a wonderful place and we definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cozy one-bedroom apartment to call home for a time while visiting Cuenca, Ecuador.

This apartment is in the historic district of Cuenca,Ecuador in an old colonial building that has been renovated with an indoor court yard, a beautiful apartment with all the amenities as well as an upstairs outdoor seating area, covered from the rain, and a rooftop for you to die for. This apartment is in the historic district of Cuenca Ecuador in an old colonial building that has been renovated with an indoor court yard, a beautiful apartment with all the amenities as well as an upstairs seating area covered from the rain and a rooftop view of the city to die for. Natalie has a local woman / hostess who greets you upon arrival and gives you any assistance you may need in checking in and answers questions for you if needed, otherwise you're pretty much on your own. It is an apartment building but while we were there we hardly saw any other people. The security is great (3 locked doors), there's a nice little store connected to the front entrance to the apartment that sells Ecuadorian chocolate and coffee. There are many Cafes within very close walking distance and anywhere else you need to get to, you can take a for anywhere from $1.50 to 3 dollars. The apartment has a beautiful new kitchen, very comfortable bed, a closet with hangers, A safe, TV as well as a washer dryer. This is a wonderful apartment in a very desirable part of Cuenca. We stayed for one week and loved it.

Nice little one-bedroom, great building, absolutely ideal location - can walk to anywhere downtown. The apartment had all necessary amenities. We loved our month-long stay but it was too short!!!

Natalie's apartment is very conveniently located and cozy. Kitchen was really well equipped for cooking (important for us). As a host, she (and her local apartment manager) were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They even found a specialty doctor for me, before our arrival, as I needed urgent care. We would stay there again without hesitation, and recommend it highly.

Natalie's apartment was exactly what we expected because of her very detailed and honest description. The location was excellent. Located with in walking distance of parks, coffee shops and many very good restaurants. Soon only one block from the Tranvia that will easily connect the airport to the historic district and rivers. The furnishing were modern and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare you oun meals. The apartment building was very safe and the rooftop terrace was very nice for sitting and enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. I highly recommended this apartment for couple looking to enjoy Cuenca.

PERFECTION! I loved this apartment. This was my best Airbnb experience yet. Perfect, central location walkable to everything. I stayed for a month. The apartment had everything I needed. Very comfortable bed! Strong shower, hot water was plentiful. Strong wifi that worked in every room. It was such a treat to have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and weekly cleaning service. There's a safe in the apartment for your valuables. Also, double pane windows facing the street kept the apartment nice and quiet. The neighbors in the building were very quiet, too. The building and neighborhood are beautiful and I felt safe walking alone, even at night. I went to Vilcabamba for a few days and felt comfortable leaving my things behind in the apartment. Communication with Natalie was clear, warm, and very easy. I was sad to leave this apartment and the beautiful city of Cuenca. Thank you, Natalie!
