Bring your pets along for the stay.
My place is close to town but is still in private rural surroundings with an awesome view of Mt Te Aroha. You have separate private sleeping quarters in an old vintage bus (with fridge). You have access to free wifi and own kitchen and lounge with cooking facilities, pool table, darts, music and more. The toilet and shower are shared with the owner at this stage Currently undergoing renovations to allow guests their own private bathroom. Tent site available with full use of facilities

The space
My place has a very laid back friendly atmosphere. It has a rustic theme with a collection of antiques and old farm machinery that will take you back in time to a bygone era. At the BIG Blue Barn we enjoy BBQ's, bonfires and beers. I encourage live music and jam sessions as I am a keen guitar player with a love of most music (especially spanish style guitar). So if you like it a bit musical, casual and a bit rough, this is the place for you!

Guest access
Guests at the BIG Blue Barn have access to their own lounge area that includes pool table, dartboard stereo and a selection of DVDs, books and games. Also in this area the guests have a fridge, (shared freezer access) gas cooker, microwave, toaster, plates, pots and pans and even a kitchen sink. Guests have use of two BBQ tables and outdoor furniture. Oh and of course a BBQ! (or two)
