Welcome to my cute 2 bedroom apartment in an area of Richmond surrounded with traditional workers cottages for the old Kings grounds of Richmond Park. It is located in one of the nicest areas of London & has everything required for a fantastic stay.

The space

My 2 bed apartment in an old coach house with period victorian features and cute garden is only a 7 minute walk to the station with its 3 train lines providing easy access to all that London has to offer.

There are 2 old pubs (one with a playground that is perfect for the kids), and a deli (winner of Deli of the year) within a minutes walk.

Richmond Park (London's largest park) was originally the Kings hunting grounds and is a 15 minute walk away.

Also within a 10 minute walk from the apartment is Richmond Green which hosted jousting contests in the 17th century. The cute lanes around the green contain great cafés and are also next to numerous old pubs and restaurants on the River Thames (a picture of the river with all its pubs and restaurants are included)

The Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew are right next door to Richmond (a 5 minute tube ride away) and the home of rugby at Twickenham stadium is within 2km (5 minute train journey).

In addition to the quick trains to Waterloo, Richmond is also on the underground which goes directly to the west end (Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Covent Garden, Westminster and Leicester sq) and is also on the overground which goes directly to North London (you can be in Camden within 35 mins).

If you want a trip away from London you can also pop in and say hello to the Queen in Windsor on a direct train in 30 mins ;-)

It is not far from Heathrow and if you require a cab then let me know and I will organise a local company to pick you up as they are significantly cheaper than the black cabs.

If you need any other information then please contact me.

Guest access

You have access to the entire flat with washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ for those lazy sunny afternoons and if you require parking then I can organise parking permits for £3 a day.

The 2 bedrooms are set up with a king sized bed in one bedroom and a double bed in the other. A 5th (or 6th even) person can sleep on one of the 2 sofas however please note neither are sofa beds.

Interaction with guests

It's your flat. Have fun :-)

Cosy home and houses comfortably a family of 4. Clean and well maintained, it is located in a pleasant and safe environment. Good especially if you are looking for a residence with easy parking, away from the city but not too far from most places. Host Jeremy was most thoughtful, giving us ample information on things to do, where to eat, shop etc.. He was also responsive and considerate of our family needs. Will certainly consider staying again!

We stayed in this lovely house as two couples with 2 small children. The location is perfect to explore Richmond and for an easy trip into London. Kew Gardens is also just one station away. The flat feels more like a house and is very comfortable to stay in. A local playground, 2 pubs and lovely deli on the street made for a perfect family stay. Jeremy was a great host who went out his way to accommodate us and our littlest guests. Thanks for having us and thanks for the cupcakes and wine too!

Jeremy was an excellent host right from the start. He responded to all questions promptly and received us with a tidy house, as described in his listing. Even though we knew the area very well, Jeremy offered his feedback at all times and even left us an excellent wine to enjoy and a welcome letter! We enjoyed our stay very much and my family and I felt at home during the 2 weeks of our stay. We look forward to going back someime in the near future!

We had a great stay at Jeremy's garden flat in Richmond. It's close to a playground which our two small boys thoroughly enjoyed as well as to shops and the Thames River. There was plenty to do in and around the area and Richmond is very well connect by trains & buses etc. Jeremy was a perfect host and supplied lots of useful local knowledge. The booking process went smoothly and we found everything we needed for a wonderful family holiday. Kind regards Patrick & Debbie

Great place to experience London and Richmond! This is a lovely place both for couples and families, who want to stay in a romantic little house, close to London and in the middle of the little suburb town Richmond. The picture do show this nice place very well and you can recognize that your host put dedication into it. There are very nice pubs just around the corner and the wonderful park of Richmond and the Kew Gardens in walking distance. Also just 10 min walk away is the River Thames with a very nice river side, boats for rent and nice pubs and cafes again. We planned to be on London, but at the end stayed half of the time in Richmond as the place is so nice. The way to Richmond station is a 5 min walk. From there it is another 25 min train ride and you are at Waterloo station in the middle of London (make sure you take the train, which has just 1 stop not the one, which stops at any tiny station). The flaw (basement of a tiny house), it clean, nice and ideal for up to 4 people (we were 5, 2 adults and 3 kids, which was perfectly fine as well). For children with kids, there is a nice playground right outside of the house, which is not in use in the evening. So you do not need to worry about your evening silence. It is worth mentioning that Richmond is close to Heathrow airport. We did not bother a lot about the planes you hear once and a while and they stop flying in the evening after 22:00. Jeremy is a perfect host. He showed us around, prepared all for our arrival and helped us to orientate in and around the house and Richmond. Next time in London this will for sure be our first choice again. Thank you Jeremy!

Response from Jeremy:
Thanks Gregor. Was great meeting you and that's brilliant you had a good time with the family. Thanks for the point about the train and make sure of catching the quick trains which are only 20 mins. I'll make sure I get a timetable in future. Cheers and you are always welcome if in town again. All the best Jeremy
