Immerse yourself in an affordable luxury villa, only 3 minutes drive from Ubud centre. Close enough for you to experience the beauty of Ubud (indulge with the food & shopping), yet you will still be able to enjoy the authenticity of Ubud. Your ensuite bathroom is equipped with its own bathtub and open air shower. Our villa is ideal for solo adventurers or even couples. Oh, and did I mention about the spectacular jungle view right out of your private balcony?

The space

When we searched for a Villa, my husband who is a Naturopath made sure of several things that will make this space supports our well-being:
- First of all, it's facing the east, making sure that we have enough natural light inside the house during the day (mould is a huge problem in Ubud, therefore we want to make sure that the house can get a good natural light and air flow).
- Secondly, I love cooking (when I'm home and not too busy), so our kitchen is equipped with tools, like a food processor and oven that can make cooking an enjoyable experience. For health reasons, we make sure that there's no aluminium in our cooking utensils. And of course, you're free to use our kitchen!
- Thirdly, water is a very important part of our wellbeing, so we brought an Alkaline Water Filtration system from Australia, to make sure that we have a good source of water for our daily needs
- And have we mentioned about the spectacular tropical jungle and creek view? Definitely our highlight for the house.

Guest access

You'll have your own room with private balcony and bathroom, and also have access to a shared kitchen. In the living area, there's a TV if you want to relax and sit back. There's also undercover parking for your motorbike on the main street. If you have a car, it can be parked on the street adjacent to our accommodation.

Interaction with guests

My husband and I travel a lot for work. But when we're in Ubud, we'll stay mostly at home to decompress (and work on other online projects). We can definitely go out for dinner together sometime during your stay.

If we're not around in town, our friend/co-host will be there to assist you with urgent needs.

Other things to note

As indicated above our villa is located in the back of a Balinese family compound. We find this quietness from the environment and the safety provided by the family very comforting. Each morning, you'll also see the family member (usually woman), will dress up in traditional dress and give some offering around the house.

Zeea's place is just gorgeous. The room is exactly as described. So clean and fresh with views looking out over the trees. The ensuite with shower and bath is lovely. Communication from both Zeea and Silvia was great. Silvia was present in the house during our stay and she was very friendly and helpful. The location is outside the main part of ubud and is very peaceful. To get down to Ubud takes about 30mins walk and is doable however I would not recommend walking back after dark. The road is dark and there are several dogs along the route that will bark and follow you. Either rent a scooter (Silvia can arrange this) or get a taxi back. Overall if you want someone that is comfortable and peaceful away for the hetic buz of the town this is great value.

If you're in ubud, you're likely there to experience the delicious food, amazing scenery, or the abundance of yoga and spa experiences available. Zeea and Kimmana's place is the perfect spot to do all of the above! Unlike a lot of the retreat centres nearby, that unfortunately seem to attract a lot of the 'spiritual hipster' type, this place allows for a deeper and more authentic environment to do the work you might have set out to. The room is huge and the bed couldn't be more comfortable (or large!). The shower and bath look like sculptures rather than functional devices, and both work very well! The balcony has an incredible view also, and you don't realise your only 2.2 km from the centre. The hosts and house keeper are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable on a multitude of subjects (thier impressive book collection makes that apparent). You are able to refill your bottle with alkaline water as much as you like, which is perfect. This was my first time using air bnb and it was the perfect initiation into the experience.

It's been wonderful to have you around, Adam! Hope our path to cross again, someday, somewhere. And yes, would love to have your artwork! Will place it nicely in the house :)

I went for the second time to Zeeas and Dians home. The apartment is spacious and quiet and Dian was kind to help out if anything was needed. 10 minutes drive via Motorbike from ubud center away and you are inmidst of the nature. I come back there for sure :-) Thanks

Dian and Zeea’s place is so beautiful and quiet. The room is spacious and clean with a gorgeous, private view over the valley. Dian greeted me I check in and showed me around the house. She also helped arrange a taxi for the airport. This place is about a 30 minute walk into town which was nice in the day when not raining but too dark to walk at night (not safe due to traffic). Overall fantastic place for relaxing & resting.
