Location close to subway, easy to get around Brooklyn or Manhattan. Check-in was easy and host communicative. Space was cluttered and not fully clean. Kitchen items not clean and sponge in sink full of mold. Found roaches and silverfish in the bathroom. Host said to “not tell any…

Response from Katya:
What an unexpected feedback. My place isn't cluttered - it is fun and filled with memories and things - living in Brooklyn isn't easy - you don't get as much space, so you make the space work for you. My space is cute and like a museum - everything is a story, that I will share, gladly, if you ask :) Kitchen items are clean! Sink full of mold? I don't know what you mean. You really think I would invite strangers to book my home if i had a moldy sink? I live here and use my sink and I'm healthy and no mold has been detected on my watch. Roaches - haven't seen those. It is Brooklyn and roaches do live here, but our building is not infested. I haven't seen silverfish, and never heard of it before - will do a treatment regardless. Thank you for teaching me something new. No speaking about airbnb - its a normal thing to say these days, when our government is trying to cut any way we can supplement our income. We don't rent places because we want random people to stay here, we rent places because it's a necessity to survive. Sorry it threw you off - it's not like i said "don't say your real name". If you ever hosted airbnb you'd know what i mean; when I get that message I can relate. I wish people speak about their troubles while here. I had so many guests who enjoyed my space so much! I always host friends who also think my place is unique and cozy. I am sorry you had such a bad time. Well, it was a full Moon after all, maybe all monsters came out?

enjoyed our stay- Katya’s place is very homey and cozy. there is no pullout couch (only 2 couches), so it really only fits 2 people (2 people for 1 queen bed). overall, would recommend but the building and apartment is definitely on the older side.
