Interaction with guests
I enjoy helping guests enjoy their time in Flagstaff in whatever way suits them. I've lived here for 24 years and have a great knowledge of eateries, shops and other activities; as well as where to bike, hike and climb, depending on your abilities and interests. If you'd like suggestions, please message me when you make your plans so you can come prepared with the right gear, clothing and plans for reservations and such. I'm often away from the property and may not be available during your visit. But even without my input, you'll still have a fabulous time in Flagstaff!
Other things to note
Flagstaff has Weather! Come prepared for cold temps and snow or rain in winter; intense sun and mid-day heat in summer, afternoon showers during monsoon season. Like most residences in Flagstaff, we DO NOT have air conditioning. But your room has windows and a ceiling fan, and temps drop considerably at night. Our location next to the Rio de Flag brings temps about 5 degrees cooler than other places in town.
- Rule No 1: Relax, enjoy, and de-stress! After that, just observe quiet hours after 9 pm on weeknights and 10 pm weekends; no smoking on property; return dirty dishes and glassware to Breakfast Room; no gear or muddy shoes in rooms please

I am a medical doctor who also happens to own a lovely little inn, which is where I live as well, in the owners quarters. My sons are in college and I travel to visit them (usually with Airbnb). I love to hike, bike, and play outside whenever I can. Flagstaff is perfect for that.
