Sparkling clean2 recent guests have said that this home was sparkling clean.

The Old Stables is a refurbished 17th Century building. Containing a double bedroom, a spacious and comfortable lounge, with sofa bed, and a small but fully functional kitchen you will have everything for the perfect base to explore Norfolk. The Old Stables has a large garden for use of the occupants and we also allow small pets subject to our approval. There is parking next to the cottage and wifi is also available although due to our rural location it can be slow and intermittent at times.

A very small cottage - perfect and cosy for a couple sharing a bed, maybe ok if travelling with a small child but any more people than that and it would be a squeeze despite the sofa bed - occasional bad smell from local biomass plant and whilst there was a a nice paddock the hos…

Response from Mark:
Thanks for your feedback Lee. It is a holiday cottage as such so the sofa bed is an addition should a small family need it. We allow dogs but as you can appreciate we run a cattery. We have lived here 4 years and not sure about the smells you talk o from a local biomass plant ? This is a farming rural community so we are used to some smells mainly as a result of agricultural work. Many Thanks Mark and Marina

This is a very nice cottage with all that you need, but would say that you must have a sat-nav to find it, as all the roads look the same and would be difficult to find without.

We would agree a Sat Nav is helpful and thankfully the postcode for the cottage does take you to the door.

My wife, Marina , and I relocated from London a few years ago after I retired. We are much travelled and have over the last few years been holidaying ourselves in South America, which we love. We run a very successful cattery and I have other business interests in the U.K. I am a…
