About this listing

Anneth Lowen [Cornish for 'Happy Home'] is a converted self-contained barn within the grounds of Over Langford Manor. Located in Upper Langford and
set in the heart of the North Somerset countryside on the Northern slopes of the Mendip Hills. The property has modern conveniences (including Sky TV and Wifi), and also enjoys the intricate and picturesque gardens of Over Langford Manor as well as countless walks along the Mendips straight from your front door.

The space

The space is a private 1 bedroom converted barn with a large sitting room with log burner (wood available on request) and access to Sky TV. There is also a DVD player with lots of DVD's to choose from. There is a fully equipped kitchen plus a large shower room. All bed linen and towels are provided plus complimentary tea, coffee and milk .

Guest access

Guests have access to Anneth Lowen barn conversion from 2pm and we ask that you check out by 11am. We will endeavour to meet you to hand over the keys and show you around the cottage. There is also off road parking.

Interaction with guests

We have lots of information on the surrounding area including maps for the keen walkers or mountain bikers plus details of local attractions and good pubs in the area! In the summer months there is a table and chairs provided for eating outside or simply sitting in the sunshine enjoying a glass of wine!

Other things to note

We accept well behaved dogs. Please mention when you book.
Cheddar Gorge, Clark's Village, Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury and Wells are just a short drive away.
There are lots of local pubs within walking distance or a short drive away.
The property is strictly Non smoking .
We offer parking for our guests who are flying from Bristol airport (10 minutes) and taxi service to and from the airport. POA.

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place. Such a beautiful setting and so close to loads of attractions and places of great natural beauty. Definitely a great little break. The Railway pub is a must.

We had a really lovely stay. The accommodation has everything you could need and the land surrounding it is beautiful. We recommend taking a walk in the woods nearby and also a visit to the Railway Inn. Thank you!

We had a lovely time. Jonathan's place is well equipped and laid out. For our first evening went to the Railway in Sandford, which was lovely, then had lunch in the Swan in Wedmore on Saturday (it's our favourite pub, otherwise we might have picked somewhere closer). Finally, we had decent fish and chips from Murphy's just down the road at the traffic lights. Based on our conversation with Jonathan about his future plans, we're confident that his property will become even better.

Beautiful location and a lovely home. It had everything we needed and was a lovely peaceful & relaxing place. Only sorry we didn't get chance to have a lovely walk across all that land. Defiantly would visit again.
