The space

It's a rare restored Aircraft Grade aluminum 1959 Streamline Travel Trailer! (Airstreams competitor back then). Truly a unique experience.

Step inside and it instantly feels like 1959 inside yet with all the modern day comforts you would expect in an upscale lodge as well. When we restored this we were sure to keep the nostalgic beauty of the era, then we improved in all the right places. Thermostatically controlled climate NEW WINDOW MOUNTED AC UNIT, hot water, Satellite tv with HD LED tv, kitchenette is equipped with just the right gear to heat up some simple food (probably won't be doing any fancy cooking). It has a plug in two burner induction cooktop and small modern microwave, a mini fridge capable to stock the necessities for a couple days at a time, the original pink range is disconnected and used for looks. The matching pink double sink works along with all the modernized plumbing.

Kick off your shoes (prior to entering please) after a long day of hiking or exploring in Zion's national park, or kick back in the shade outside and read.

Full bath in the rear with warm/hot showers, brand new toilet and everything you need to clean up and kick back. There are also showers in the public area and you are provided a code to enter the area and use the showers there. Better for showers that need a little longer hot water use.

All the cushions, mattress', bedding and upholstery have been replaced, as has all the electrical (though we have used many of the original light fixtures). The two cot size back beds sleep one adult each and have brand new memory foam mattresses and bedding.

The windows have screens are allowing natural light and fresh air to come in to come in, there are two fantastic roof fans with 3 speeds and they pull fresh air through the cabin when running and a window not the opposite side is cracked open a bit.

Sit at the front dinette and read, eat, socialize or play cards together and when it's time to sleep, the table collapses down and the couch cushions lay flat to make the front twin/full bed. It also has a comfortable memory foam mattress topper, linens, and blankets located in the storage space under the seats of the dinette.

The Bose sound system allows you to connect up your smart phone for some times if your liking (and cell phone reception is generally great here but it depends on your carrier).

The park does have wifi but please don't expect to do anything data heavy at all inside the trailer, it struggles to connect in the aluminum shell. There is a nice laundry room for your use and the wifi works well enough in there.

We do have Dish Network setup with our outside portable "Tailgater" satellite dish cube.

On site:
Laundry room (coin op)
Shower rooms
Fairly close RV Park to the entrance of Zion's National Park

Parking is limited to two vehicles on the parking spot in from of the trailer, additional vehicles need to be parked near the office in a spot that will be billed to you directly from the park office to the tune of about $5/daily. please let me know if there will be an extra vehicle to make arrangements with the resort ahead of time.

You are our guests (friends and family) while staying in our trailer and are expected to follow all park rules.

Be aware: part of the experience includes having to occasionally do the RV things required to make your experience enjoyable, such as manually pulling the sewer valve to empty the black water when necessary. It is quite easy and there are how to instructions that are provided with your checkin instructions. You do have to do this from outside near the back of the trailer where the dump valve access door is located.

We hope you are as excited to stay with us as we are to have you!!!

Guest access

Our 1959 Streamline is setup at a reasonable driving distance to Zion National Park in a cute, clean, well shaded RV Resort.

Parking: there is a spot for 2 vehicles only. If you need another parking spot we MUST KNOW in advance and you must pay the $5/day additional fee to the Resort

Wifi: Wifi is present but not very strong signal in the aluminum trailer.
It's more reliable near the office if you need to email or something. Not Netflix speed for sure but then again if you are coming to Zion you are likely not going to be hanging too long inside. Also we have satellite tv with HBO and more.

The self service, coin operated laundry facilities offer four washers and four dryers and are open 8am to 7pm. Detergent and coins can be purchased in the office

Restrooms receive the highest rating from Good Sam. Each is a private restroom complete with a hot shower and toilet. They are conveniently located around the park and open 24 hours. Showers are complimentary.

you can message me through the airbnb app or text and i will get in touch reasonably quickly. We will also occasionally call a guest while there reservation is in session to have you check on something with the trailer and report back, but this is rare.

Really enjoyed our stay. Trailer was exactly as described, very pleasant, a step back in time. Close proximity of bathhouse a definite plus. Our visit was in summer, so trailer interior grew pretty warm even with A/C on during day. Very comfortable for the two of us, would definitely visit again.

Cool option for staying close to Zion National Park. In a RV resort park which has separate showers, a market store, swimming pool. The trailer has the basics, including coffee maker and toaster to get along with breakfast. The single beds were fine for our adults, the kitchen table bed however was less than comfortable. I'm 5'7 and I just fit, if you're any taller this option would not work for you.

Really interesting step back in time staying here. Chad has lovingly restored this trailer to close to original design with modern updates. Its a bit tight as trailers of that era were so be ready for that. This would be really really tight for 4 adults to stay in. More realistic just 2 adults with 2 kids. Because it was summer the windows needed to be backed with foil panels to keep heat out so kind of dark in there this time of year. We enjoyed building a fire at night with the supplied wood. For the four of us one night was a perfect amount of time here.

My wife (Katy) and I love to travel but also love being at home when we are not on the road with our 4 year old little girl and cavapoodle puppy. We absolutely love being outdoors and love to just have fun. We are both entrepreneurs by nature. We are both very artistic and I guess you could say we see life in bright colors. We love to meet new people and hear about the travels of others.
