Nathan was a great host, he was very nice, made sure more than once i have everything i need and that i am satisfied. the location is great, very close to times square and the subway station and right in midtown Manhattan. the room is in decent size, but take in mind shared spaces like the bathroom and kitchen are very small. Also, has free wifi, but it's limited to 1GB plan.

Thx Gil for the review! About size! Its NYC! Also, before booking im sure you saw the layout with full measure details of the apartment on the listing. About Wifi-Pocket,im honest say... Ita 22gb provided by Tmobile with $90 prices tag each month that i paid for my guests. If you asked me. I may suggest you to try to turn on & off! It may help! Thank you!

I selected both QUIET and LIVELY and that is not a mistake. It's only few minutes of walk from the most lively, exciting and noisy areas in Manhattan. That means in the world. But Nathan's place is so quiet like in a different world. Where else can you find such a perfect combination? If you want to experience attending broadway shows and sleep at a few blocks away, Nathan's place is a must to try.

I have never used airbnb until I stayed at Nathan's apartment. I had a great stay. Everything was clean and he even offered his own shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, ect. The location was fantastic. A 5 minute walk to Times Square. Nathan let me keep my bags at his apartment for a few hours after my check out time and that was what I appreciated most about my stay! Thanks!

Flexible check-in is real ideal for me to booked this place! I was late about 30mins (from the time that I gave to Nathan). He's still waiting & very nice to me. On top of great location, clean, size of the room with this kind of Time Square location! All worth to stay! Nathan made my NYC trip was worth to come back again in the future! :D

Regarding the room itself, it is decent size and great location for the price. For the negatives though...(1) well before the travel date, we had agreed on a check-in of around 1 PM, and I booked my plans around that (including an afternoon Broadway play that I ended up missing). At 4:45 AM the day of check-in, I get a text asking if I can check in earlier since he had to go to work at 1:00. As my Amtrak train wasn't scheduled to get in til 12:47, I responded that wasn't possible, but that I'd get there as soon as possible. The train unfortunately ran late, and despite me keeping him apprised of the progress, beginning about 15 minutes after 1, he was frequently texting/calling, which stressed me out more than I already was (I ended up arriving shortly after 1:40). Be prepared for the same to potentially occur if you happen to run late in your travels. (2) On the 2nd day I was there, I had left the window air conditioning unit in my room on when I went out in the morning so that the room was not somewhat warm upon my return (as the rest of the apartment was throughout my stay), and I returned to find he had entered the room without any notification/permission and turned the unit off.

As i expected Brady will say! :D 1) About the check- in time. Seem like what i communicated is right... as human (with manner or polite). U should take a taxi or subway (Not far at all from Penn to my place) but u decided to walk. Purpose to be real late check-in (it's only bad luck of my work day). About ur Broadway show... Be honest I didn't say you to stay in the apartment at all. Coz, I know my door is working well. My guests before msg me they had no problem when they came back to pick up their bags! *** Read Heather Review**** 2) About Air-Condition. I'm not so sure about Brady's Life style about traveling... 5Stars hotel with very expensive price. They are using Keys card to make sure electric is off when the guests are not there (Even been one???). I'm just a simple guy sharing small spaces in NYC apartment to make end with my bills didn't makes as profits! Why not when i hear the AC is running then i'm not going to just switched off (Normally i don't go to my guest room at all). Seem like there will be the first. Here we are you're my "First Guest who disrespect & Like to TURN ON AC wasting Energy for Nothing!!!". Sometime people forgot what they pay for & twisted to make like a something from nothing... If they just know how to help to save energy. PS: You want to saved your money by not rent cheaper room, don't care to pay subway or taxi but want to let the AC running all day. Coz,U paid for it!?! Think... Shame on u!

Very nice apartment. We felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time. Superb location which made it very easy to get around and see all the places we wanted it.
