As with all good things they always come to an end. For what we needed with our kids coming to visit and later some friends this was a great location. Both the Sky Harbor and Gateway airports are easily accessible in a half hour or less. However we did travel to both in light traffic. I went for a walk early every morning and you could live at Stephens house and never really need a car. I even dropped my pickup off for an oil change and walked the 5 minutes rather than wait for it. Starbucks is too close (to easy to go every day and spend money on a foofoo drink!). Dry cleaners, grocery stores, clothing stores, burger joints, medical clinics; all close by. Renting in an unknown area can be a suprise if you encounter the unexpected. This is a quiet neighborhood. You can go for a walk in any direction and feel safe. We met three neighbors while we were there and all were very nice, young working people. We ride motorcycle and via state highway 60 we could be on the 101 or 202 in 10-12 minutes. Traffic could be an issue during rush hour but if you stay away from that you can get across the city in a very reasonable time frame. As far as our host, we communicated through the AirBnB website and everything about Stephen and our stay was seamless. Based on our communication prior to arrival I'm confident that had there been any issues they would have been dealt with promptly. Our only suggestion would be to have a pair of slippers or cabin socks if you stay during colder weather as the floors were cold when we first arrived in late February. However, when Phoenix was having record setting heat in mid March that was not a problem. One last comment is about the beds. We need a new mattress at home and I think we found something that BOTH my wife and I agree on. We had a month of very comfortable, restful sleep!

Our first experience with airnb I'll be recommending to friends. So much nicer (and less $) than a hotel. Steven has a real nice home all 3 queen beds were super comfy. Nice surprise he had a big tv with sound bar to watch Netflix at night. He also has a super large new barbecue outside that we didn't utilize. We didn't get a chance to meet so he emailed a code to get into the house. Id love to go back.

Steve was very easy to work with and responded quickly if a question came up. The house is a comfortable private home in a quiet residential area but so convenient for walking to stores, groceries, restaurants and easy access to freeways and all areas of Mesa, Phoenix, Apache Junction. My favorite place to hangout, read, enjoy the sun, was the little private back courtyard complete with some beautiful flowering vines. Very enjoyable place to be. We would definitely try to come back to this home if we return to Mesa

This home is in a quiet residential setting. It has coffee pots so be sure to bring coffee to enjoy on the patio. The beds are comfortable. There is a washer and dryer too. It's walkable to a market, Starbucks and the Dana Point Center (with several restaurants and shops). It's easy access to US60.
