This cabin was built by my grandpa nearly 50 years ago. A large covered deck overlooks the small pond in front of the cabin. The cabin features a lot of natural light, high ceilings with wood beams and a pot belly fireplace. Downstairs is the one main bedroom with a large closet - this room connects to the bathroom. Upstairs is a large loft area that features one full size bed, one queen size bed and a futon. It is a short 5-10minute drive in to Red Lodge.

Guest access

Guests are only allowed to use the main house. The brown shed, red shed, wood shed, and green house are all considered to be 'off limits'.

Other things to note

Fires are only permitted in the outside fire pit, this is subject to change if it is a dry season and there is a county wide 'burn ban'.

Drinking water from the tap is not permitted. The cabin runs on a well. The water has been tested and is not suggested to be used for drinking. It is however safe for showers, boiling/cooking. Bottled water is provided.

Please be sure to clean up after yourself. Do not cook a meal and leave the pan in the sink with food stuck to it. Leave dirty towels in the laundry hamper and remember to leave your shoes on the deck.

It's a very cute and charming place. Had all the amenities and the kitchen was pretty comfortable. Area was great to walk around at since the area was outdoorsy and gorgeous. Sitting out on the f not patio and listening to everything is serene. Directions to enter are pretty easy. Cell phone service is not too great here sadly or at least with T-Mobile it is not. I was only able to somewhat call and text. No data. So make sure to download some movies if needed. And bring an HDMI cable to connect to their tv! But I mean vacation! You should disconnect from the outside world anyways . The city is very close by and they have wifi at most restaurants which is great. Lots of little cute stores around. Loved seeing all the deer roam around happily. Overall great place to stay at. Would love to stay here again!

This was a superb value considering the location. It was a short 15 minute drive to Red Lodge and to the scenic Beartooth Highway. After a day of exploring, it was a real treat to come back to Alyssa's quiet little cabin near the stream. The front porch is HUGE and is a great place to sit and play the guitar, read, or chat with the family. The cozy atmosphere in the house was ideal for bonding with the family. The open layout between the kitchen and living room was perfect. We shared the bathroom among our family of 7 and it worked out great. Our 5 teenage children (3 boys and 2 girls) ages 20 down to 13, shared the large loft upstairs and they truly enjoyed the bonding time. The accommodations at this cabin really allowed for us to enjoy family time playing games, reading, and catching up. Alyssa was tremendous in communicating with me throughout the entire process. This was our first experience with airbnb and Alyssa made it a great one. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an awesome Montana vacation!

Our family of 6 stayed here and the kids loved the loft upstairs! The place was so organized and had many thoughtful amenities for guests. The creek outside the cabin was relaxing and we had many nature sightings. Only 1 hr from Cody, WY and a short drive to Bear Tooth Scenic Highway. A great place to stay!

Alyssa's cabin was the perfect mix of Montana rustic and modern. The loft was perfect for the kids, and we found the accommodations to be perfect for our family.
